Kate is my favorite this season. I enjoyed bits and pieces of Tiana's audition too, and enjoyed Kala, Ryley, and Jerome as well. Talia had potential, but her audition was sadly not great. I don't remember any of the others tbh.

I'm liking American Idol more this year, which is a bit rare. After having another WGWG winner, it seems like they're pushing for more diverse artists this season and I really like it. Even the typical generic country guys this year on AI have more substance to them.

Holly Brand being on the XFactor is INSANE to me. I mean, Holly is so young, yet the XFactor USA feels soooo old. I guess she was just really young on the XFactor, but I just can't wrap my mind around that.

I've enjoyed Chance on the show so far! I admittedly know basically nothing about him, apart from the fact that he was in a KitKat commercial once, but I like that he's a bit more reserved and thoughtful like Alicia was. Niall does nothing for me. He's like Nick 2.0 but less interesting and with music I dislike even more. I mean, Nick was bad enough, I don't know why we had to find a second one... I like them both more than Camila though.

Lacy Mandigo (both times honestly), Anthony Arya (should've gone to Foushee, OneUp, Natalie Brady, Kayley Hill, etc.)

WTF no other votes for Caroline in the battles? She destroyed Danielle IMO. Amy put Caroline to rest in the KOs though. Caroline was a more interesting singer, but Amy was definitely robbed.

Probably the most criminally underrated performance from the show. Such a shame that he picked Blake who paired him against a country artist and gave them the worst possible battle song.

Chris Weaver definitely entered this KO with the upper hand, but Katrina totally brought it too and tied him, in my opinion. Honestly, all of Katrina's (aired) performances were really solid and her only downfall was the fact that she was paired against people who very slightly outperformed her. She def should've moved on past the S13 KOs over others like Shi'Ann or Hannah.

YES! I thought I was the only one who loved this performance. I literally recorded it just to have on my phone before it got removed from the YouTube channel lol

I was underwhelmed by her audition, but she really proved herself in the battles and KOs. It's unfortunate that she and Morgan occupied a similar lane. Morgan is a more powerful singer, but Cara was better at connecting to her songs and excelling with softer, quieter moments like she did in her battle. Cara absolutely deserved to move on to the lives over Alyssa, at the very least. I even thought she beat or at least tied Justin in the KOs.

Voted for Constance. Her audition was so messy and weird that I actually enjoyed it. I really liked Grace's performance too though and almost voted for her. Jaeden and bodie were good too, but I found the arrangement to be a bit awkward. Kate and Chello did nothing for me with their Justin Bieber covers, but I enjoyed their other performances.

Loved a lot of Sawyer's performances. I definitely wasn't rooting for him in S8, at least not over India, Kimberly, or Mia Z, but he definitely had a great run and I can understand why he won. I have no idea how Chevel was received on IDF, but I think she's probably my least favorite winner besides Bryce. "Traveling Soldier" was a top 10 performance of the season, but I really didn't enjoy anything else from her. She was like a female Brayden with a slightly more developed voice but a worse tone IMO. Not a fan, especially since she "inexplicably" beat so many other deserving contestants in such a stacked season. Danielle had a really nice run, especially for someone with so little experience. Her battle against Caroline was sooooo good.

You really snuck in "Fingers Crossed" to see if anyone would notice My favorite was Justin's "Here and Now", which isn't on the list. That ending was INSANE. Jaeden Luke's audition is probably my second favorite performance. Easily the best performance of the pre-lives, it's so sad that he was cut so early. Out of this poll, I voted for Justin's "Break Every Chain".

D (Subpar) Camila wasn't a great coach. Her battle song choices were pretty awful and her decisions generally weren't that great. Her dynamic with the other coaches was pretty bad for a new coach. It definitely seems like the other coaches weren't as excited to work with her as they were with Ari, which is very understandable, but didn't make for great TV. I really enjoyed watching Camila's relationship with Morgan though; if Morgan had won, I probably would've rated this season higher... The live shows were definitely dampened by a LOT of weak performers. I know this is true for basically all seasons, but it felt especially bad given the higher number of contenders this season and what should've been a better pool of talent to choose from. Kim, bodie, and Justin CARRIED the lives. The 3 way KOs were terrible, and honestly, equally bad as the Cross Battles IMO. The trios were all nonsensical and clearly made to advance an obvious, predetermined winner. It felt like a lot more bussing than usual. I almost with there had been MORE shortclips so we didn't have to listen to so many of the terrible performances and so that Eric's KO could've been not montaged. Terrible winner.

Gwen should've taken ANYONE over Alyssa honestly. If she had managed to steal Jaeden Luke or if she had advanced Cara or Jay, she could've maybe gotten closer to having a finalist, but I really don't think Gwen had any real shot of having a finalist this season, unfortunately. She probably could've avoided losing 2/3 of her team within the first few weeks though if she had ditched Alyssa and maybe Kique earlier.

Probably not. Still, any of Andrew Igbokidi, Orlando Mendez, or Zach Newbould would have been a smarter decision than taking Eric and/or Devix into the Lives (even if Andrew, Orlando, or Zach weren't necessarily better singers than Devix or Eric). I don't think Camila could've done any better than Morgan though.

Ugh. robegate was so iconic. I mean, I hated every second of it, but there's a small part of me that wants something as insane and exciting as Robegate to happen again.

Blake really should've pushed the whole "if you don't support Team Gwen, Gwen won't sleep with me tonight " thing that he does in the blinds.

I think Morgan will pull off a Maelyn-esque victory. I hate the idea of Camila having a winner, but I also don't really want to see Blake win either, so...

The Instant Saves were much better this season than seasons past. Although maybe that's just because S21 set the bar underground for IS performances... Anyways, I thought Parijita, Justin, and Kate's IS performances were all fantastic, although there were a lot of other excellent ones as well.
