  1. And like it’d at least make a little sense if the dude was amazing but he ain’t that special. I did not think his Arena performance was good.
  2. Like Idol really wants us to believe that both her and Michael Rice’s performances were worse than Blake’s? Scarlett, 2nd placer on X Factor UK and Michael, Eurovision performer and winner of All Together Now (and maybe X Factor) really worse than a white football man that the judges literally told him wasn’t good? that’s probably why they didn’t show their performances
  3. Y’all like we didn’t even get a montage of their performances they just told them they’re history…
  4. Not Alyssa saying “I have to be selfish” like girl I’m afraid that bridge has been BURNT
  5. “The girl sitting next to me” girl couldn’t even bother to learn her name LMAO
  6. How about Gwen sends through Kara and Lennon and then pull some strings with Blake Shelton to get another super save where she can then take Alexa
  7. In 5 seasons they're going to add the SUPER DUPER Save where you can bring back a contestant from a whole different season
  8. I don't really know this dude all that well but he looks and sounds like like Niall Horan if he skipped puberty
  9. It seems that even though Tanner couldn't get his parents to show up to the performance he still managed to incorporate them into the show somehow by stealing two of the most absolutely random items of clothing from his dad's closet
  10. Ooh nothing I love more than my favourite song being sung by an average white guy!!
  11. I feel like some of you guys are being way too hard on Stee. I mean, I haven't been too invested in this series but I'm pretty sure that just because the show says that they choose their own songs doesn't mean they actually choose their own songs.
  12. While I'm not happy when a country artist goes forward, I accept the fact that the country artist is who the public voted for and that they deserve to get through on the basis that they delivered a performance that the public liked. Everyone on this forum complains that they disagree with the public's decision, but I don't believe anyone would ever outright say that the public shouldn't get a say. I suppose I'll just say that to me, Jess's decision was poor regardless of whether you based it on performance or strategy. If you agree with Jess's decision, that's fine. I was simply listing the reasons why people were upset
  13. Ezra has the power/ability, but, in my opinion, she doesn't have the control, and that makes her a weaker vocalist. But I still do like her and I even said she was the best female vocalist in Team Jess (I know, there's no competition, but it counts for something). But, at the end of the day, it's all subjective, so I'll just say that we can agree to disagree. And I don't like the whole "market" thing as much as the next person, but at the end of the day, the show is for the public. The coach's decisions have to align with the public's or else the show falls off heavily. After all, when the public doesn't get what they want, they stop watching. So, as far as a strategic decision goes, even if I believed Ezra's performance was better than David's (which I don't), I would still choose David.
  14. "Strongest Vocalists of the Season" is a stretch but for the most part, I agree that Ezra is capable enough that her talent deserved to get her into the semi-final (especially on Jess's team). The issue is that: 1) That Semi-Final performance was a mess because of poor song choice 2) David's Semi-Final performance was a lot cleaner and suited him far better 3) The public simply doesn't care about her, so in terms of strategy, it was a poor decision because she won't win 4) As seen with Iam Tongi, there is a huge market for a tone like David's (most likely enough for him to win) 5) The fact that Ezra's sister and Jess know each other certainly doesn't help the favoritism allegations
  15. Lachie Gill won because the GOOD singers canceled each other out last year
  16. Wow. How did they manage to mess up this badly? Ethan singing "Train Wreck" is fitting since that's what this season is. However, I must admit that Ethan finally gave a performance that lives up to his blind audition so good for him. Maree and Calista were still robbed though. I've learned I just don't care for Tarryn's tone. Like, she does everything right but I just can't resonate with her voice at all. She technically deserves to win but I honestly won't be too aggrieved if she doesn't. Charlie was amazing. The performance was too short which is a fault of the production, but the man has had a very good tone and control all season so I can't say anything about the decision. I have constantly been talking about the issues with everyone ignoring Jess. Now I see why everyone ignored her. No point in doing the actual competition if you just give your friend a free pass to the finals and throw everyone else out the window.
  17. Okay time to come in with some spicy opinions - Tarryn has the potential to be the best singer this season but I honestly haven't enjoyed any of her performances. She either does too much (her audition and callback) or too little (her sing-off). Nyree should've won the sing-off, even if Tarryn should've won the battle. - Ezra's sing-off performance, while I did like it, was very messy. However, I still would've put her through, because it's a joke that Shyjana made it to the sing-off after repeated pitchy performances. - Honestly, there needs to be some sort of producer interference when it comes to who artists choose for their team. It's stupid how someone can be mediocre and make it just as far as someone with actual talent like Maree, just because they chose a team with no good singers on it. And I still can't get over how Jason jumped through so many hoops at every stage of the competition just to end up with the most average of Top 2's
  18. Like, Team Guy I honestly don't have all that many problems with. Charlie did well enough in the battle to be sent through and Bella and Marley were pretty evenly matched. I am shocked that Marley didn't make it because I honestly thought he'd be a finalist, but whatever lmao. Team Jason though.... like what? So Ethan had an amazing blind, and then a callback that Jason didn't like all that much (I liked it but Jason seemed to have an issue from what I've heard), and then that mess of a battle with Etienne. If anyone should be singing again to prove they deserve a spot in the competition it should be him. And getting rid of both Calista and Maree in the same episode? This is what happens when everyone ignores Jess.
  19. "My Kitchen Rules will take the Monday and Tuesday slots from September 4"
  20. I couldn't find a video of Jason sending both through but I did find this on TikTok (if it doesn't show up let me know)
  21. Well, at the start of the whole Callbacks nonsense I predicted which 6 people in each team would move on. I ended up getting 5/6 on Team Guy, 4/6 on Team Rita, 5/7 on Team Jason, and 2/6 on Team Jess. This means I got 16/25, or 64% right, which is alright. This episode was subpar. Ezra was honestly my favorite, with Calista close behind. Honestly, Ezra went from having a subpar audition to being the best female on Team Jess (which isn't saying much since Shyjana and Jade are both pretty pitchy, and Giann, while pleasant to listen to, is still quite shaky and nervous) Alex and Callum were both alright but I didn't love their arrangements for their songs. I think they could've really knocked it out of the park if the arrangement was more refined. Now I am shocked that Emily Kate was montaged. Granted, hearing her snippet, I'm not too surprised, but I was really looking forward to her. At least she's through I suppose. Not much else to say other than that.
  22. Ok Emily Kate's Tiktok shows that she's going against Nick Meanwhile, Sean's TikTok shows that he's going against Shyjana So, just to put all the pairings in one place, we have: Team Guy - Robbie vs Shanae & Jaydean vs Michaela Team Rita - Emily Kate vs. Nick & Gezel vs. Ben Team Jess - Sean vs. Shyjana & Ezra vs. The Bushwackers Team Jason - Callum vs. Alex & Calista vs. Jade
  23. Honestly, The Bushwackers withdrawing would make a lot of logical sense. 1) They're already accomplished musicians so they have no reason to try and win the show 2) They might feel like they have an unfair advantage because Jess owes them a lot and would therefore choose them over other artists Meanwhile, for Sean, I could see a health issue leading to an early withdrawal.
