Im a fan of Jennifer but I'm not sure about that performance. One of her weaker ones for sure.

Mafe was also shaky, but had a few better moments. Then again Gene sang the harder song.. Yeah idc who goes home or stays in this performance. Both hugely disappointed

Uh.. I hate to say this but this doesn't sound good. Odd vocal placement, kinda flat. Even the belt sounded strained and thin. Man.. didn't expect him to flop. Imma go listen to patrique forston.

This is a powerhouse pairing. Hope both do well.

This is the best he's sounded in a long time. Probably because he's not singing vocally demanding songs outside his range. His runs still need work though.

If chance picks Kamalei that might secretly be a win for Maddi depending on who steals her.

I'm usually the guy that prefers the more consistent vocal performance. But I have to go Maddi here. Sorry, Kamalei just does nothing for me tonally, vocally, artistically..

Yeah while I think it's my least favourite performance from hers and not so great. Everyone else doing it would have been a disaster.

That was pretty good by McKenna. Not as good as last night but better than Hawaii and showstopper week.

Damn, didn't Huntley have a wife at the time of TV? Reminds me of when John H and Rio started dating. I think John H had a husband at the time? Or maybe it was before TV. But yeah this is an even shorter window. I didn't see much SM interaction between them either and I don't think Huntley mentioned Nini in the pitchy podcast interview about people he was close with (mostly stee and Jacquie). If he did it was brief. Definitely surprising.. good for them though. Edit: probably should have said this first before writing all of the above.. but proof? I don't see it anywhere.

John wasn't new to the show when he didn't turn for Justin. Granted, no one but 1 coach turned for him. So either it was a late taping, the audition wasn't as good as it sounded live, or everyone sorely needed their ears checked. Anyways, maybe John just softened his expectations for covers of his songs since then, Not a big deal. but it is a bit funny that Kamalei of all contestants gets his approval.

McKenna and Roman were head and shoulders above everyone else imo. Ive had Roman and Odell competing for the title of best male singer in the show since the beginning. But these last 2 rounds have swayed me to Roman>Odell for now.

Not mad at it or anything but I didn't think Asher would be top 3 Only real disagreements is Nathan being so low, and OK3, Nadege and Olivia being a bit too high. Ryan Argast, coleman and Donny are a bit low too

Julia is someone else that hasn't matched their audition. And it makes sense, it's hard to top nailing Ain't no way.

Julia was the right choice. Unfortunate to see Hailey go. But Blake leaving is wayyyy overdue.
