Anyways! We've hit the top 10! 

The way this is gonna work is YOU, kind reader, are going to get the opportunity to discuss with others and guess which artists made my top 10. Some choices may be predictable, others might be head scratchers that will make you wonder why on Earth I ranked them super high (I promise nothing too egregious though!)

 

How This Will Work:

If you'd like to join along in the chaos, I encourage y'all to make a single comment that you can edit/go back to over the course of the next 2 weeks.

Something like "___________________'s Guess/Submission"

In there, you can just simply rank them down 10-1, no explanation. Feel free to discuss, go back and edit, do whatever you want to that list. I'll give a 2 week deadline (since I'm also busy again lol) and anything posted by January 20th, 12PM (Pacific Time) will be counted as your final guess. (I may be flexible with this deadline or update it because life happens)

 

Points:

Correctly Guessing an Artist within the top 10: 5 points

Correctly Guessing the Artist's placement on the list within 2 spots: 10 points

Correctly Guessing the Artist's placement on the list EXACTLY: 25 points

 

I will stack these and give you credit (so if, for example, you guess #5 exactly correct, you will get 5 + 10 + 25 points. If you get it within 2 spots like #5 as #3 or #7, 5 + 10 points)

 

YOUR HINTS FOR THE TOP 10:

-9 different seasons are represented in this top 10

-8 different coach selections are represented in this top 10

-No auditions after season 20 are on this list

-One song has already appeared on this list

-There are more females than males (but I won't specify the exact ratio)

-All contestants made it past their battle round

 

And because some of the picks may be a bit unexpected, here's how I'll describe them (very subjectively):

-2 of my picks are probably in the top 10 of 99% of people's all-time lists

-3 of them I don't think anyone will fault me for putting in the top 10, and they'd likely be somewhere in most people's top 20-50 overall anyways.

-2 of these contestants may be a bit forgotten overall and harder to pick out. Y'all will have to look at the episode lists on Wikipedia probably and check back.

-1 of them is probably in no one's top 10 but mine (and maybe like 1 other user)

-The remaining 2 had pretty good reception (if I recall correctly) and I imagine people won't blame me for ranking them this high
