My thoughts after listening to the studio versions:

TEAM DELTA: pretty solid in general

- Clarissa was stunning - I'm gonna be so mad if she doesn't go through.

- I don't get the hype over Jesse. His voice is not that distinctive and I think this song didn't do him any favors.

- Stellar was nice but it wasn't my favorite performance of hers.

- I liked GOLDI but I don't think they have a realistic chance tbh. (Janie was my favorite on the blinds so I'm probably biased haha.)

- Steve was ok. Not a fan though.

Who I'd go with: Clarissa and Stellar

What I think is gonna happen: Jesse and Clarissa/Stellar

TEAM GEORGE: I love an all female team haha.

- At the beginning of Masha's song I wasn't into it but the ending was great. Overall I loved it.

- I love Elyse's song. The beginning was great but I think she got drowned by the band.

- Who arranged Angela's song???? If she did it like the original it would sound so much better imo.

- Siala was great, I loved it.

- I don't get why Virginia picked this song (because of the scream in the beginning maybe? lol). This should be Sapphire's spot tho.

Who I'd go with: Masha and Siala

What I think is gonna happen: Siala and Masha/Angela. (But George loves a rocker so I wouldn't be surprised if he picked Virginia lmao)

The best of the night for me - at least from the studio versions - was Clarissa.

There's no real big spoilers either - Matt was definitely back in Perth about a week ago but that makes sense - for the semi-finals if Delta can only pick her 2 strongest contestants it would most likely be Stellar + Jesse. 

Claudia was amazing in the blinds but I think her voice sounds a bit weak singing Running Back. It almost sounds like she's out of breath

I really hope they're through. I enjoyed their song more than Claudia's.

Also, I can totally see why Kelly chose not to pick either Jimi or Elishia, they both sound dreadful lol.

I just listened to Janie and Matt's performance and I'm not ready to see them leave the show. I really hope Delta picks them.

I wouldn't count Wolf out, people seem to adore him. I don't know why, to me he sounds awful. His voice is different but so unpolished

My crazy theory is that each coach might get a say for everyone's teams - e.g. Guy, George, Kelly and Delta all choose the contestant from Team Guy they think should be eliminated. Whoever gets the most votes is then eliminated.

It might get a little messy though so they might just stick to Guy choosing 2 contestants he wants to progress to the semi-finals. I just don't think that format is very fair, especially because there's obviously some coach 'favourites'.

On The Voice of Holland they used to have something like this on the live shows. After the performances each coach gave ratings to every performance, and the four scores are averaged and added up to a public vote score. This final score determined the acts at the bottom. Not sure how the eliminations worked from this point on (I don't speak Dutch lol)

There's not much info on public voting but I highly doubt that's going to happen until the grand final seeing as they're pre-recording everything.

Wow so they're really cutting over half of the contestants on the showdowns. That's brutal.

It would be better if they didn't pick any wildcards after the playoffs, I think the eliminations would be more reasonable. But on the other hand, it gives another contestant more screen time.

I'm really hoping that's not it. But seeing how the show has little to no respect for the contestants, I wouldn't be surprised if that happens.

I think that's pretty much it, with the exception of the first two on Guy's team. I think it's gonna be Adam vs Josh and Timothy vs Matt.

Listening to the songs on Spotify, I think the last save might be out of Adam and Elyse, Mark and Emma or Luke and Timothy. I'd be happy with any of these outcomes.

Masha and Ella's battle was a scream-a-thon. However, if Masha is eliminated I'm gonna be mad at Kelly lol.

After letting a coach do it, a few seasons back, La Voix Quebec is doing something different with their current season - the coach can save their own act but other coaches can try to steal the act. If that's the case, the contestant decides who to go with - original coach or new coach. if their contestant goes to another team then they lose their ability to save someone from their team but it turns into an extra save. 

But they can already. They can save their artists by simply pressing their buzzer when the time for the saves come, but with that comes the risk that another coach is going to try to steal the artist for themselves. That's what happened with Despina and Clarissa. George wanted to keep them but other coaches stepped in to steal them to their own teams. So I think if Delta gets to keep both artists without the risk of losing one of them it's going to be really unfair.

So some people said that the twist could be that Delta wanted to save both artists since she still has one save, but that makes no sense to me. At least, it wouldn't be fair to the other coaches - especially George, who tried to keep both Virginia and Clarissa and Siala and Despina, but didn't get to.

And I really hope she doesn't try making a duo. I mean, they try to do that every freaking season and they still have to talk to the producers anyway? Lol.

So the pairing I was the most confident about (Despina vs. Sebastian) didn't happen haha.
