Not bad, not impressive either, sorry Mandi

Both Rose and TStorm annihilating the original singer on this song, whoops
-
It was too hard for John to say TStorm'd be better lmao
-
It shoudn't be a hard decision, comparing their body of work..

I don't think you guys understand just how much support Micah has lol, his views are insanely high on every social media platform
His audition was leaked and has 6.1M views on Youtube but only 36k likes. He just had the luck to be leaked in the weak in which people started taking quarantine a bit more serious in some countries. Megan has 2M, but 26k likes. Thunderstorm has around the same amount of views as Micah, but three times the likes. On Facebook, he has 1.9M and she has 1.5M
Once again, he was a leak.
Nothing against Micah, I actually like him but don't see him getting the vote over Megan unless he has a breakout performance and/or Megan completely flops

I'm doubtful of Kelly advancing Cedrice over Micah. She does rave about Cedrice every time she performs. Still, Micah is the only guy that chose her this season, she talked about how he's the type of male singer that she loves and she mentioned she sees him in the finale.

I personally don't like the idea of having team quota for the semifinal, especially if some teams are clearly stronger than the others.
Me neither, but they definitely don't want Blake having 4 in the semifinal, which would be probably happen if the didn't have team quotas. I'd be all for it, this is the season to have team Blake dominance

If I'm predicting right off the bat?
Megan, Thunderstorm, Zan, and Todd T get the PV.
Coaches save Cedrice, Arei, Mandi (?), and Toneisha
The pick for the save would be Micah, Arei, Mike, Joanna/Joei (honestly whichever one of the two performs best) - I'd guess Joanna/Joei gets the 9th spot.
I think Allegra and Micah would get the save
-
Usually, it's easier to guess who would Blake save in which scenario. This season it seems he really likes all his original team members. We'll have to see his reaction tonight about Toneisha. In order of probability to earn Blake's save if not voted through: Todd > Toneisha > Joei
I kinda don't see Todd not getting the vote, though. But we all thought that about Pryor, so we'll have to wait and see

Chloe is good and I really love her "Landslide" but I still think Brooke was robbed. During lives I sometimes think Chloe is boring.
I believe that Addison won that season easily. I'd rank Brooke and Chloe as a tie for the second place. Chloe kinda flopped on the finale night, delivering a rather boring performance in the pimp spot. I don't think she gained any new fans in the finale, she only could've lost some. She still managed to win though

*Yeah Brooke Simpson and her Amazing Grace is a Finale thing. I really think if she sang it in the Finale she could've won it.
Chloe was winning no matter what

Shortclipping the loser's performance over the coaching time? Sure, seems reasonable and fair like we've come to expect from this show

I hope Kelly, of all people, is not pushing the country thing on her.
I seriously doubt that. That's a Blake thing to do, not Kelly

Brynn Cartelli (Season 14) - 148k
I'm not following her closely or the music industry in general when it comes to the numbers. But that seems way too low for someone who apparently gets much help from Kelly. Or I'm completely off?
-
Did Kelly steal Cedrice before Micah vs Tayler happened? That way it makes a little more sense. Some say Tayler straight up slaughtered him, while some say it was even so we'll have to see I guess
-
Allegra needs to hold back, wow. Her performance was all over the place. I would still choose her, but she needs to rethink her choices going forward. Jacob was good, but didn't really do anything that made me believe he'd stand a chance moving past the Top 17
-
this also SCREAMS sandyredd to me, i mean i liked her performances later but they don't hold a candle to her blind
-
I'm interested in who you think the four-chair-turns would pick if the coach, they did choose, didn't turn for them?
My opinon:
Todd Tilghman - John
Nelson Cade - Kelly (don't know why anyone, let alone John, would block Nick on this one)
Joanna Serenko - John
Toneisha Harris - Kelly/John, but I'm leaning Kelly
Thunderstorm Artis - tbh, a tough one, I'd assume Nick, umm, maybe
Mike Jerel - Blake or Kelly, Kelly'd make more sense, but sensing he'd rather work with Blake for some reason
Mandi Castillo - Kelly

S13: great blinds overall I'd say... maybe Brooke Simpson or Chloe Kohanski
What about Landslide and TEOTH, though? Imo, way better than her blind.

I remember a thread about how coaches would do on the show? I believe that was before John and Nick joined. Didn't feel it was necessary to start one again but I'm just wondering what you guys think about these two because both soulful and pop (especially those that heavily rely on falsetto) men don't do too great on the show

Team Kelly seems off as always for me, I really don't like her choices most of the time. She sometimes have favoritism but I like Micah as her favorite this season.
Some of her decision definitely are head scratchers but tbh she just doesn't get a lot of good people in the blinds.
I wouldn't even say she shows much favoritism but is genuinely trying to be strategic and just gets stuck on contestants that gave a strong performance in BA but failed to live up to it (like DR and Jej) or contestants that show much potential hoping they'd fully realize it (Damali, Shane).

I know this season doesn't have the greatest pool of talent we've seen but I can't help but be kinda disappointed with all these updates about lives, we definitely could've gotten some quality performance if they postponed lives, but I understand that under these circumstances this is the best solution
