Asher… oh man. To say that was the best performance of the season would honestly be an understatement. That was one of the best performances in the history of this show.

Good battle. Nathan was more polished but Bryan has the more interesting voice. I would bet on some sort of steal/playoff pass situation here.

Not sure if that was just a terrible song but Valerie’s audition was kinda underwhelming to me. It sounded like she was off key half the performance.

Kaylee has some raw talent but her pronunciation and phrasing are so affected and insincere that I can’t get into her performances at all. There’s just zero emotional connection anywhere.

I agree with this comparison. Their vocal tones are really similar.

I’m pretty sure that’s been a thing for a while, I remember reading Amanda Lee Peers’ blog about her time on the show and she mentioned that they all got to see each others blinds’ (on her team at least)

She could have gotten really nervous after getting a chair turn and forgotten her song lyrics or something. It’s a lot of pressure to be on that stage and I would be willing to bet that a lot of montaged blinds are due to that or a similar reason seeing as they would easily have time to show all the auditions in full with some minor editing. Or maybe there was a sound issue that prevented her mic from recording the whole performance properly. This is all speculation of course and we probably won’t find out the real reason.
