I don’t think TA has anything against Kat at all, they were a Kat supporter pre lives. Kats voice and style is just very polarizing and not everyone gets it. TA’s critique was actually pretty straightforward and bias less compared to others in the past lol. Some people may translate something they don’t get into being bad but that’s ok because it’s vote to save not vote to eliminate. Definitly no jugdement because I’ve been frustrated by Kat hate on this forum as well but I don’t think TA was trying to hate on Kat, they just didn’t like her song choice.

Just last season Jacob Maxwell advanced with the same exact song, and Lili Passero advanced with Man I Feel Like A Woman in Season 12. The only time I remember someone not making it through with a Shania song was the girl in the knockouts of season 10 which wasn’t a public votes. Even American Idol finalists have covered this song and done perfectly fine to move on. I think Kat with be just fine with this song. And her post was just a thanksgiving post lolll

Well these coaches definitely took some... risks. I love Kats song choice tbh, she’ll be fine imo. Whoever gave Marybeth Lose You To Love Me needs to take it back ASAP, it’s not even fair why would anyone in their right mind give her this song unless they’re trying to bus her. Rose will do amazing on Gods Country tbh and it’ll get some pandering votes possibly. I’m honestly just puzzled why they thought it was ok to give Marybeth Lose You To Love Me Hello Sunday got really lucky honestly, out of all the “moment” songs stone cold is the most straight foward song. Either you can do it or you can’t and it sounds like they can so this could propel them in the competition

I also have to say no. If anyone were to do it it’d be Marybeth or Kat but if Marybeth couldn’t do it with her top 13 song and Kat with her top 11 they probably won’t ever. Katie seems like she could also do it but she’s not the type of artist to rack up in streams
