  1. This means that we should get an answer to whether or not the 4 way KO is returning
  2. I didn’t like any of her performances on the show either. I thought Rebecca was much better
  3. Yeah, the Knockouts were definitely underwhelming, at least compared to S20 and S21. I felt that they really weren’t much of a game changer this season like they usually are. Most people that went far were better in the blinds. This goes to show when 7 of the 8 semifinalists ranked in my Top 10 Auditions of the season, and I also thought that all the Four Chair Turns that made Lives had better auditions than the Four Chair Turns that got eliminated. I think the issue was definitely the three way Knockouts, and unfortunately, they seemed to bus more people than usual, rather than make the round even more competitive
  4. Season 9 Contestants Shelby Brown and Amy Vachal -Auditioned back to back in the last episode of Blinds -Turned all possible chairs (Shelby- 4, Amy- 3) -Auditioned with both songs sung by Livia Faith in Season 14 -Made Lives on Team Adam -Got instantly eliminated in Semis together
  5. I agree with that. Something you might notice is that I tend to favor contestants who are risk-takers, and are willing to challenge themselves. Omar’s song choices showed that he was just that. He was one of the most exciting performers to watch this season, and I am very happy he made the finale.
  6. We would have gotten there a lot sooner if I was actually active in S22. Especially since he had already won me over with both his audition and battle performances. He sang so many challenging songs on the show and did well with them.
  7. Sundance for sure. He was maybe the only singer that I can for sure say earned the win. Everybody knows how rough Season 11 lives were, but Sundance was probably the most consistent performer in the lives that season. I didn’t notice him much in prelives, but he won me over due to his willingness to take risks, as he also took non-country and did country arrangements, which is very rare to see from country singers. Not to mention, the dude was also a better vocalist than most country singers. If I had to rank all four of them though 1. Sundance Head 2. Craig Wayne Boyd 3. Jake Hoot 4. Bryce Leatherwood
  8. I wish I could watch it, but for some reason it’s blocked in the USA
  9. Tish, Sharane, Jackie and maybe Kyla (It isn’t as clear as the other teams). I only liked at most 8 performances from this night anyway. It was a terrible round in my opinion. Glad they scrapped the 2 night playoffs after this season.
  10. Absolutely disgusting for someone to do to him. It frustrates me even more since I am also on the spectrum. On a side note, I’m surprised that Will is still the only contestant who has mentioned being autistic on the show. I know Australia had Adam Ludewig and Sheldon Riley (the latter didn’t mention it until Eurovision though).
  11. I would definitely want to have access to any performance from older seasons, even the ones I don’t like, in case I want to watch them at some point (such as watching each performances from a certain round of a particular season). It’s a bummer that a lot of videos are blocked in the USA, such as many videos on The Voice Reupload channel and many videos on Best of Voice channel.
  12. I’m pretty sure that the gap between 21 and 22 is the reason why I was off IDF for a while (and the fact that I took a long break from The Voice altogether during that timespan). But yeah, I was very hyped for bodie for a while this season
  13. Add me. She deserved better last season
  14. Yeah I disappeared for a while because of the long offseason and I took a break from The Voice altogether during that timespan, but I watched mainly the Lives last season, and I was very busy the past couple months as well
  15. Bodie had my favorite alternative audition since Taylor back in S7. It had been a while since we got an audition like that one. And I’m glad that bodie was able to make finale. Golden Hour was probably my favorite performance of his.
  16. 1. Craig. Anita’s performance was good, but Craig’s performance was excellent, and he had a breakout moment here. 2. Jean. It wasn’t as good as I remembered (didn’t help that Jordan was only 2 seasons later), but I felt that she took more liberties than Menlik, and that’s what I would reward in Knockouts. Wouldn’t really be opposed to Menlik getting stolen though 3. Chris. It definitely wasn’t his best performance but I generally prefer him over Blessing, and picking him ended up being worth it in the long run
  17. 1. Katie (I remember when spoilers had her eliminated and I thought she deserved to move on, but she actually got stolen. I was also tired of Raquel at that point). 2. David (I also preferred his performance, but imagine if he stayed on Team Ariana over Ryleigh) 3. Jeremy (Not the best Whitney cover, but still good enough to win this matchup)
  18. S22- The Marilynds (would have rather seen Lana) S21- Nobody S20- Keegan Ferrell, Devan Blake Jones (would have rather seen Durell and Lindsay) S19- Joseph Soul S18- Nobody S17- Not sure S16- Majority of cross battles saves, Jimmy Mowery S15- Colton Smith (in Knockouts), Anthony Arya (probably the worst battle with a steal in my opinion) S14- Dallas Caroline S13- Stephan Marcellus S12- Aaliyah Rose, Quizz Swanigan S11- Josh Gallagher (it should have been Michael) S10- Lacy Mandigo (Knockouts), Nick Hagelin (Coach Comeback) S9- Chance Peña Don’t remember 7 and 8 S6- Both of Shakira’s Battle Round 1 steals (Patrick Thomson and Josh Murley) S5- Nic Hawk, probably some others
  19. Probably my Top 10 (in order of season) Will Champlin Josh Kaufman Matt McAndrew Chris Jamison Jordan Smith Jeffery Austin Chris Blue Cam Anthony Bodie Omar Jose Cardona
  20. Seasons where there’s someone I’m certain about S21- Holly Forbes, Jeremy Rosado S18- Mike Jerel S17- Shane Q, Marybeth Byrd S16- Jej Vinson, Celia Babini S15- SandyRedd S14- Johnny Bliss, Terrence Cunningham S13- Ashland Craft, Jon Mero S12- JChosen S10- Mary Sarah S7- Taylor Phelan S6- Bria Kelly
  21. I won an American Idol type competition at the high school I went to, and I was the lead in one of the musicals there. It was a very small school though.
  22. 1. Adam Cunningham. He got a great song for his voice in this round. He was definitely better before he moved to Team Adam. Esera’s performance wasn’t very memorable. I’m not a fan of most Superstar performances and this means probably my least favorite of those. 2. Chris Weaver. It was very solid just like his other performances. Katrina had an interesting song, but she had some noticeable pitch issues, and it was definitely weaker than her battle. 3. Emily Luther. This was in my Top 3 Knockouts of the season and the only steal matchup this season where I agreed with the winner. Not to mention her best performance on the show. Adam Pearce was still good, but he was against that Emily performance.
  23. Owen Danoff (A) vs Ryan Quinn (B): Billy Joel is my all time favorite artist, and I thought Owen did the song justice. He definitely conveyed the emotion and kept it simple like in the original. Ryan’s performance was solid, but it was his weakest performance on the show Emily Keener (B) vs Shalyah Fearing (A): Emily gave a solid performance, but it never stuck out to me. Shalyah, however, had a breakout moment here. I didn’t remember her much before this performance, but I definitely did after this performance Paxton Ingram (B+) vs Angie Keilhauer (D): Probably Paxton’s best performance in the prelives. I definitely felt the emotion here. Angie picked the wrong song, since there is a lot of sing talking and it didn’t showcase the vocal ability she showed in her audition.
  24. Auditions- S21 > S22 > S20 (21 had a lot of depth, 22 was hit and miss and 20 wasn’t that strong in the auditions) Battles- S22 > S21 > S20 (battles in 22 and 21 were both great but 22 had so many good battles that didn’t even result in a steal) Knockouts- S20 > S21 > S22 (20 had many great Knockouts, 21 had some really good ones, and not many knockouts from 22 are that memorable)
  25. Season 12. A lot of these are some of my least favorite seasons of the show, but I liked a lot of contestants that made Lives in Season 12 and it has my favorite winner out of these seasons
