Am I the only person that doesn’t count 18/19 year olds as teenagers? I guess it could count if someone is a Senior in High School, but I consider 18 to be a different age bracket in terms of contestant age groups.

I think that chair turns are often seen as a metric for how strong someone’s audition is, but a lot can change in the long run. There are many singers in the past that didn’t have a performance as good as their auditions in the past, and a lot of singers that turned less chairs improved from their auditions. This is why I consider Knockouts one of the most important phases of the competition, that’s where these shifts usually occur. People often wonder “how did this contestant get eliminated?” or “how did this contestant advance so far?” when they only saw their audition. And I’m guilty of this mindset too at times

Speaking of Blake button pushes, his steaks look really good this season, now that we’ve seen both of them

Grace is a 2 Chair confirmed, since Kelly’s chair was red, so maybe Katie could be before her.

JB was closer in quality to Mariah and Kylee for me. Ray and Kason were both meh

Yeah, Kelly would have definitely turned for her if she could. I held back because I don’t know if her team was already full, though it seems to be the case

That performance was fantastic. I thought she earned the save, since she had an issue in the first live show and then fully redeemed herself and showed that she can be great live.

Yeah, I’m often pickier than him when it comes to grades, but I’m with you on this one.
