  1. Oh, I only just saw this! No, I never did. Not yet. I might buy it at some point. But sadly, the three songs that I mentioned in my original post aren't on that album.
  2. Yeah, MySpace accidentally deleted all of its music about a year ago. So now the only chance of hearing most of Starr's songs is if someone saved them after all these years and is able to upload them to YouTube. I've tried reaching out to Starr on social media, as have others, but she hasn't been responsive.
  3. I've been interested in tracking down as much music as I can find from Idol season one finalists and have realized that quite a few of the finalists released songs on MySpace that are no longer available anywhere. The finalist whose music I'm most curious about is Ryan Starr, because her Wikipedia page lists the specific titles for each song that she released - and only one of those songs - "My Religion" is still available anywhere. I actually asked about this on Idol Forums several months ago without any luck. Even though I realize the unlikelihood that anyone reading this happens to have any of these songs, I still wanted to ask about this one more time, just in case. The Ryan Starr songs that I'm looking for are: "Love Gone Bad" "Stranded" "Eyes of a Child" Starr released a fourth song on MySpace - "7am" - but someone has already managed to help me find that one. I'm not only looking for Ryan Starr songs. If anyone happened to save songs released by the other members of season one's top 10, then I'd be interested in those as well! My goal is to get all of these on YouTube, so that they'll be available for anyone to hear. I'm only looking for songs that aren't currently available on Spotify, iTunes, or YouTube. So again, the focus of my search is mainly on songs that had been available on MySpace back in the day. If anyone here can help out, let me know! Thanks!
  4. Hi - I came across an archived forum post from many years ago, in which you discussed music from Christina Christian's MySpace page. I've been curious to hear songs released by Idol's season 1 finalists, and so I've been trying to track down Christina Christian's music, but most of it has disappeared from the internet. I know that this is a long shot, but I figured it wouldn't hurt to message you and see if you ever downloaded any of Christian's music?

I'm also looking for lost songs by Ryan Starr if you happen to have any of those. Since these were all released freely on MySpace, I assume that there aren't any legal restrictions on sharing them or re-uploading them to YouTube. Let me know if you can help out!

I have 5 mp3s from Christina Christian's AI1 run. I have 4 from Ryan Starr on Idol and her My Religion single.I don't seem to have any other non-idol music from them. Would these interest you?

Hi - thank you for the response! The 5 mp3s for Christina Christian and the three for Starr (other than "My Religion") are performances that they did on Idol? If so, then that's not quite what I'm after, but thank you for looking! I'm just trying to find songs that were recorded after Idol. "My Religion" is already on YouTube, but it's the only one of Starr's original songs available anywhere, and I know that she had at least six others. So I'll keep looking! 🙂

Sorry I couldn't be of help

  5. You never heard back from her, I imagine? Thanks for trying though!
  6. So it looks like "Curtain Call" is available for digital download from Amazon in the UK...sadly, I'm not in the UK, and Amazon won't let me download songs from another country.
  7. That would be awesome! If you still have any of her songs, I'd love to hear them! I actually came across one more song featuring Starr - it's called "Crazy for You" and is a collaboration with Paolo Mojo. But I still haven't had any luck finding Starr's own music, aside from "My Religion". Thanks! I'm not on a lot of social media, so I wouldn't have known how to best contact her. I really appreciate the help!
  8. Curious if there's still anyway to hear Ryan Starr's music. Spotify and iTunes both have a song that she was featured on ("Chemically", by Sander Kleinenberg), but none of her own music is available on either of those services. And "My Religion" is the only song of hers that I've been able to find on YouTube. I know that "My Religion", along with two other songs by Starr ("Blue" and "Broken"), featured on an album called "Curtain Call: New Songs from Past American Idol Finalists", but the only way to hear that album these days seems to be by ordering a physical copy. According to Wikipedia, Starr also self-released a number of singles on MySpace - the titles of those are "Love Gone Bad", "Stranded", "7am", and "Eyes of a Child". You can still see all four of those songs, along with "Blue" and "Broken", listed on Starr's Myspace page here, but from what I've gathered, every music file on MySpace became unplayable at some point in the past few years. I know that Starr is pretty obscure these days, so I'd be kinda surprised if there are any fans of hers still on this forum who could help me out. I'm not really familiar with her myself, as I never watched season one when it originally aired (and have still never seen the season in its entirety) - I'm just curious to hear what some of the earliest Idol contestants released, and it's too bad that her songs are so hard to find. Thanks in advance if anyone is actually able to find any of these songs!
