Meh. The label can't do anything with older singers. Universal Republic needs more younger singers they can do nothing with and then cut loose. Gotta make them jaded at a younger age to prepare them for life.

Nothing from the results shows needed to be live. The singing wasn't, why the results? Then they wouldn't have gotten into any time crunches and could've fixed up any streaming glitches. Maybe leave a little glitch in here and there to pretend it's live.

This was probably done for time, like how she got shafted for the "any last words from coach Blake" bit at the end of last week. I don't understand why anything needed to be live the last three weeks. The music wasn't live. Why did the rest of it have to be? Then you could've edited for time and streaming glitches, but still given the illusion that it was "live."

That $100,000 isn't going very far for Todd. That's only $10k per person in his household.

If they have to do all this cutting to save on cost because the show's not as profitable anymore for them, why not just cut it back to one longer season per year instead of two short ones? You pay the coaches a little more, but you don't have to pay them twice. That's probably the biggest expense.

Just wait until season 22 when the live playoffs becomes the finale. "Here are your top 20 artists, 19 will be eliminated tonight."
