CONGRATS BRYAN on making it to Top 12!!!!!!! It's been grueling waiting for tonight since the Playoffs Pass has robbed us of one more performance from him. Fortunately he did not disappoint! Tonight's song choice is so fun but a tall order, and Bryan proved he has the chops to take it all the way! I think he will thrive even more in the live shows, since he's clearly made for stadium performances. Can't wait for Top 12!

I totally get that. I also prefer it when vocalists project their voices forward. Asher is vocally solid but I prefer Bryan by leaps and bounds.

I want to hear her take on When I Look at You, even if that song is cursed on this show.

Did the song call for a split? No. Was it excessive and distracting? Probably. Did I love it? HECK YESSSSSSS

I still connect with Huntley a bit better than Bryan because the former came from the era of rock that I really love, but Bryan is just heads and shoulders above most of the male vocalists this season, IMO. Nathan and Asher are close behind.

Also, just wanted to pop in and give Zoe some much needed kudos. I'm honestly sad that her reception has been mixed so far, I think she has the most compelling growth arc of the contestants so far. And I'm not one to go for fixer-upper contestants. Congrats on her Top 12 spot, I hope she continues to prove herself on this stage!

And it's only going to get worse for AI once America whittles down the finalists... a huge reason why AI is getting good reactions with IDF is because it's a female majority this time, but that majority is going to shrink eventually.

I usually prefer snowflakes to be great and consistent right out of the gate... but I can't deny that watching Zoe improve and come into her own week after week is really compelling.
