Scarlett and Michael were over the top singers, IMO. I mean I know we have some contestants who are also OTT but those two seemed to be very dramatic when they sang, almost as if they were auditioning for the lead role in a musical.

Alyssa seemed so sweet on her first two seasons. I’m surprised that she’s actually very selfish and conniving. Her father seems lovely too. Come to think of it, I feel like there was some drama with him on social media before?

Early prediction: Jordan and Quintavious eliminated from Group 1, K-Blocks and Elleigh from Group 2.

Odd that they didn’t show the Dasher siblings even getting cut in a montage this episode.

I am also pleasantly surprised to see all the support for Ziggy. K-Blocks isn’t getting AS much hate as I thought she would, either. Funny how Raghu became the villain this year.

I think Kennedy is gonna get a good edit next week and she does sound quite good in the leaked clip of her singing “Fancy.” She won’t make the Top 14 of course but I think she’ll survive the first cut. K-Blocks and Elleigh seem like dead women walking to me. I’d almost say K-Blocks has a better chance at staying over Elleigh because she’s so damn weird that she might get the votes to stick around for one more round. Vote For The Worst would definitely be voting for her if they were still around lol.

Triston. Giving me total Scotty vibes. Others on my shortlist are Will, Odell, Abi, Julia and McKenna.

Will is a threat too for sure but I think Triston’s personality will help him outlast Will. I could be totally wrong. Hell I wouldn’t be shocked to see them both in the finale. It’s so hard to tell with the girls this year because the ones they’re pimping hard like Abi, Emmy, KB, McKenna and Julia have all had one “off” performance so far that the judges critiqued them for. Jayna and Hailey have been shown to be consistent in each round but they’re not getting tons of screen time. Then you have girls who are obviously not winning like K-Blocks, Kennedy, and Elleigh. So the girls are kind of all over the place right now. Edit: And then there’s Jennifer who could be a total dark horse.

Welp, I’d bet money that K-Blocks and Elleigh go home in the next round lol. K-Blocks is too bizarre and Elleigh has been given a cannon fodder edit, plus her song choice for Hawaii is ridiculous. Vocally, Odell and Jayna are the two biggest standouts right now for me. Triston is my current prediction for the winner, though. He’s reminding me of winners like Scotty and Taylor who charmed the granny viewers and skated to the finale doing the same thing every week. He’s likable and has a charming personality. He’s not as obvious of a winner as Noah and Iam were, though, so that’s good. A surprise could still happen like when Maddie and Just Sam won their seasons.

I love Kennedy lol. Someone commented on her performance on Instagram and said “They need to give her a better wig”, to which Kennedy replied: “I would love that!”

What if Alyssa gets cut and then sneaks into someone else’s judgement and asks for another chance? “If I could just have another chance to show you guys how much I’ve grown since you cut me over KB fifteen minutes ago!!!”

Very good episode. KB blew me away. Madai is the craziest contestant since Tatiana Del Toro lol.

She was shown getting a golden ticket in the premiere but only her reaction to getting it, none of her singing was shown. And she’s supposedly not on tonight’s episode either. So far she’s being edited like Fox Idol fodder such as Amy Krebs and Melinda Lira (I don’t expect anyone to remember them lol but they were basically never shown prior to the voting rounds.)

She’s probably wishing she’d never tried out again lol.

We’ll be getting a lot of montages, I’m sure. I’ve got the feeling they won’t feature K-Blocks again except a short clip. She’s getting the old school Idol fodder treatment.

I’m ready for all of them! Hollywood Week has always been my favorite part.

I think they got confused and put Tuesday, April 1st instead of Monday, April 1st.

Hollywood Week is getting a change-up this season which should make things interesting. I’ve always thought they make the contestants sing TOO much in Hollywood Week, which hurts their voices by the end of it. From what I can tell, the new HW will consist of just two rounds: Arena and Showstoppers.

I really wasn’t too impressed with Quintavious’ audition and I don’t think he’ll pull off that Carrie song either. After hearing Kennedy, I think she’ll survive the first round of cuts. K-Blocks will need a miracle to stick around past the first round. Other than her, I can’t truly pinpoint anyone who I think is a goner for sure.

If Kennedy presented herself more seriously, she could’ve possibly been a contender. She has a strong voice but her karaoke song choices and OTT makeup make it hard to take her seriously.

Wow, Kennedy really improved. She has a really strong voice and can belt.

Blake and Emmy

IDK what the judges were going on about with Mia. She sang that song beautifully and captured the emotion of it. Everything doesn’t have to be over the top.
