Who are the victims in the next episode???

It was a strong episode full of some very good people…

The judges will be pushing him forward, but there is no way someone from Canada wins…

well…I thought it was clear I wasn’t serious because obviously it is not a good idea for many reasons (she might be forced to withdraw if she or anyone else actually did go this far) but perhaps sarcasm and jokes get lost through the internet…my humour in general is pretty sarcastic, but…that’s not always clear through online posts…I’ll put a “/s” next time…

well…the way I see it is even if you are a Republican and Trump is the nominee, you would have no choice to vote for him because you don’t support democratic ideas…feel free to disagree…

following Trump or even being a Trump supporter is one thing…making comments and actually being racist and homophobic is a different thing… unlike some people I don’t believe that all Trump supporters are all racist, homophobic etc etc … many Trump supporters or even Republicans supporters just don’t support democratic ideas and while I don’t agree with them, that is absolutely valid…

or maybe Megan because Lauren Daigle shows up???

I never said it was a good idea…I was simply pointing out a way to win…wasn’t meant to be serious advice…

it could win her American Idol…but also be career ending if she actually wants a career in pop music after the show…

I think Ben is a joke tribute act and he just screams…

Maybe Megan Danielle can get the votes of conservative bible thumpers…especially if she keeps singing Christian music…she might have to say she has conservative values and hates gay people and abortion…it will cause a lot of controversy, but will get her a lot of votes… Of course I don’t know what her personal views on these issues are and in no way accusing her of hating gay people…just simply pointing out a way she could generate a base to win…

basically any other country…although Indian Idol and France Idol (recently) have also been “dominated” by men…all other countries don’t really have a significant advantage either way and have a mix of winners…of both men and women…I don’t watch the voice too much, any version, but I just skimming through the names of the people that won…it seems pretty balanced…there are countries where their singing shows are completely dominated by women…for example, Indonesia Idol hasn’t had male winner since 2010…although, this season their X factor season was pretty male dominated, but that’s definitely an anomaly over there…

then I think maybe you are better off watching singing shows of other countries that don’t have this pattern or have it to a way lesser extent… also, I don’t know about you…but Chayce was very forgettable to me…but he was edited way more favourably…

this pattern only happens in America btw…

I do think a girl can win this season and they don’t even have to be country as neither Maddie or Samantha was, but…it is exponentially harder…it will come down to of course the performances and also how the show is edited…unlike you, I do not believe Caleb lost because all his performances “sounded the same” … I believe the reason he lost ultimately came down to how the show was edited that season and that he was actually severely undereditted in the beginning rounds…he was probably one of the most “forgettable” contestants that made it to second place….the only reason he made it that far was because he was a country male…if Caleb had been edited more favourably in the earlier rounds…he probably would’ve won…

Top 24 are divided into 3 groups of 8…4 go through, 4 go home…4 times 3 is 12….ENTIRELY JUDGES CHOICE!!!

Maybe they should try the Australian Idol format next time…lol… but only do so if Colin actually wins…

I don’t think you can take old season standards and apply them to today…the show has changed for better or for worst…back than female contestants didn’t start with a disadvantage … 4 of the first 6 winners were female…now no matter how good they are, female walk into the show with a disadvantage because of the way show works and voting demographics…not to say that women can’t win since there has obviously been recent female winners…point being the show has changed and you can’t really apply those standards to the show now in comparison to where it was before… also, there have been times where people were totally expected to make it through…flopped one performance and ended up being eliminated…

Interesting format…24 people divided into 3 nights…8 people per night…4 people go through and the other 4 are eliminated…entirely judges choice…

probably means that Huntergirl was nowhere close…but if there is actually some real competition…song choices, production and judges comments certainly does influences votes…

Also, we still don’t know if the Hawaii round is viewer voted or judges choice..

They probably won’t push him to win…but just being there in the top 24/26 will be enough for him to breeze to the finale at the very least… unless America doesn’t get to vote in the Hawaii round and the judges/producers decide to cut him…but that’s not likely…

Of course he is…it’s American Idol…

it’s really not…it’s really about who can appeal to the American Idol base…country moms on Facebook are already salivating…its game over for everyone else…unless he has one really awful performance….even then, that may not be enough for him to lose… if the judges are picking who goes home in the Hawaii round, we may have a chance that he doesn’t make the public vote if they are pushing for a girl winner, but even that is not reliable… and before you say Maddie won over Caleb…Caleb was barely shown in the prior rounds and even he made second place when a lot of people thought he wouldn’t …Gabby was “supposed” to win that season, but they couldn’t make that happen…
