That was beautifully put. That's what music's supposed to do: trigger a strong emotional response, whatever it is. For some it's the technique, for others the tone etc. If we didn't have different reactions to music, we'd all have the same favs here and this board would be boring af lol.

I agree with the previous posts about Kat. idgi either, but she obviously has lots of fans and/or strong local support. Plus she's TB and looks like she's the Blakers' TCO. So all signs point to her making the finals no matter what, and maybe even winning (although my money is still on Katie or the Hoot for that.) Maybe we'll "get" her later.

Picking option 1. They'll come up with bs excuses at the last minute like they can't get the rights to the song in time. Ooops! No worries. Here are some already cleared songs for ya. You still have a few hours to rehearse.

The problem isn't how they perform, well or not, but how the producers use the contestants like pawns. I'm sure they know when they audition that it won't all be fair and square, but the bts shenanigans seem to go too far sometimes. Jake isn't the first one to mention it.

Can't say I disagree. Sure, it's probably better career-wise to just stfu and take it, but the BTS crap and crappy song buses he had to go through left him bitter? Doh. The producers use the contestants like they're service animals. It's disgusting. Sure it's great when you're TCO, but if not, they'll walk all over you until they get rid of you after they've used you. :x
