  1. Can we announce fire tokens yet? If so I want four public immunities
  2. Nah the link works totally fine on my phone!
  3. Whether you like The Help or not there is no denying that in a ranking of Viola's performances, that certainly deserves to be in the end.
  4. I can’t believe Derrick comes back and wins it all
  5. Wait I wanted in on Viola’s round edit: but if it’s too late I’m totally cool with that, most of my would-be choices have advanced anyways!
  6. Literally why is this round taking days
  7. OTHER PEOPLE (2016) Look, I love a gay movie as much as anyone here does, but this one was not one that I was living for. It's cute, funny, heartwarming and heartbreaking at times, with good performances all around, but it was just a tad too cutesy for me to want to go back to it, unlike other LGBT themed movies that I stan. Still, that's not to say this isn't worth a watch, as it deals with much more than just the internal struggle of being a gay man who grew up in a crushingly conservative religious household (which I know all too well and still deal with the ramifications that has, almost daily). Anyways I digress...this movie stars the great Jesse Plemons, as well as Molly Shannon, Maude Apatow, Zach Woods, and June Squibb among others. It's about a man who goes back to the great city of Sacramento to take care of his dying mother. Of course going home to a not accepting family is never fun, even when your mother is dying believe it or not! Save: Sicario
  8. Save Sicario Cut Other People
  9. I love Eddie. He’s adorable. I want him as my EOE pick actually, since Taj is taken
  10. There were four hot guys for you to choose from.
  11. It’s an IDF rankdown, it’s not real if it’s not #extra
  12. JESSICA LEWIS (MILLENNIALS VS GEN-X) I like Jessica well enough, but this is a really fair spot for her in the grand scheme of things. She was someone that was easy to root for but wasn't all that entertaining or memorable as a character. Jessica has the distinction of being one of only three (I think?) players to be eliminated from Survivor via a rock draw. She is the most recent and the one who left during the TC with the highest amount of contestants (10). Jessica started on the Gen-X tribe and was a target relatively early on after she led a blindisde of Paul. Chris & co didn't like that so they planned to blindside her. Fortunately, David played his idol on Jessica and they were able to regain a bit of control. Fastforward to the final 10 and things end up in a deadlock, with 5 votes going to Zeke and 5 votes going to Hannah. The two became immune and the remaining 8 (minus the immunity winner, so 7) drew rocks. Jessica drew the fateful rock that ultimately sent her home. It was incredibly sad to watch because Jessica seemed like the person who was least willing to go to rocks. How poetic. Saving: The Amanda Kimmel of China, Micronesia, and Heroes Vs Villains Fame
  13. Honestly my biggest takeaway from this episode is that Jane Krakowski is my favorite human ever. Seriously, I had a beaming smile every time she was on the screen! 1. Jujubee - She deserves the crown. Juju has not had a bad week this season, and this is now her third time in the top 3. I actually laughed the most at her comedy routine, the opening jokes fell flat but everything else was hilarious. Punchline of the night goes to her joke about Ross and Gwyneth Paltrow. And her runway look was definitely one of my favorites this season. 2. Shea Coulee - I'm anticipating a Shea win and I'd be alright with it. Shea just seems like an amazing human who deserves the money and title, even if I didn't love her this season as much as Juju (or even Alexis). 3. Miz Cracker - I'm not really sure how she ended up with the most wins because it doesn't feel like she should have the best track record, but of course I still love Cracker. She has definitely improved on her legacy imo and this is a really solid top 3. 4. Blair St. Clair - Lmao her cockiness before the challenge was super off-putting, good for her for making it all the way to the top 4 but honestly I didn't see the ~incredible growth~ from her this season like all of the queens (and Blair herself) are talking about. She did fine I guess? I almost prefer her S10 run more tbh. That lipsync, lmao. They should have done Fancy by Iggy and Charli XCX. That would have been more entertaining and a more equal playing ground for Cracker and Kennedy. Oh well!
  14. Edit: This was not supposed to be top of the page.
  15. GOODNIGHT MOMMY (2014) Sorry, I'm sure this is a good movie but so are all four of the movies that just got put up so I now have no regrets nominating this one. Literally the only reason I did it was because it had the word Mommy in the title, to fit the previous round's theme. Goodnight Mommy is a 2013 Austrian psychological horror film. I definitely have the feeling that someone suggested this be put in the game. (The only movie I suggested is still in the game so go me!) It's 100 minutes long and it tells the tale of a mother of twin boys who has reconstructive surgery, only to come home and raise suspicions in her boys when her demeanor and attitude changes. I'm sure a bunch of creepy exciting stuff happens. One review says that this movie is "dark, violent, and entrenched with dread - perfect for extreme horror enthusiasts." The National Board of Review even named this as one of the Top 5 Foreign Language Films of 2015. Of course the Academy didn't nominate it for Best Foreign Language Feature because they hate horror!
  16. WARM BODIES (2013) I very distinctly remember watching this movie on the plane to New Zealand back during my 2013 trip there, and I remember gaining and losing consciousness throughout the film. Not a good sign, but it was also during the middle of the night on a 13 hour flight. This is a 2013 paranormal romantic zombie comedy film. Definitely not my style of movie. It's about a zombie's relationship with a girl. It stars Nicholas Hoult (who I absolutely adore), Tessa Palmer, and Analeigh Tipton, who was one of the best ANTM contestants ever. It's 98 minutes long and was produced on a budget of $35 million. It nearly quadrupled that with a $117 million box office. Good for Warm Bodies! It actually received a decent score on RT at 81% but only 60% on Metacritic. Unfortunately I just didn't enjoy the movie all that much and it's one of the few left that I have seen that I really didn't enjoy, so it was an easy choice for me to put up. Adieu!
