  1. Compared to the leftist VA government, he might as well be a right-wing extremist since they're so far left that anyone right of center (even a moderate like Youngkin) is a right-wing extremist. And what's wrong with MAGA anyway. Don't they want to make America great, that they're turning the slogan into a bad thing?
  2. Trudeau invoked the Emergency War Powers Act for the first time ever and went after the protesters' bank accounts. They arrested a couple organizers and hundreds of protesters. They charged one of them with the crime of "counselling to commit the crime of mischief." The Prime Minister of Canada refused to talk to the truckers/protesters and instead treated them like terrorists, freezing their assets and allowing the police brutality. For the crime of inciting "mischief". *** I saw one post saying he does not agree with Trudeau's action, but so far, other than us posting about what's going on in Ottawa, nobody else commented or denounced the violent tactics the police are employing on the peaceful protesters. (I think some of them don't like us posting the updates here). Anyway, the governments in Western democracies, including the US, are not condemning Trudeau's authoritarian action either. (If it was Russia doing these, the media and the West would be denouncing Putin). These other governments are watching what's going on in Australia and Canada, and if they get away with their authoritarian measures, these other governments will probably do the same. Speaking of support for the protesters, a couple of Canadian flags are seen in one protest in Germany. https://gab.com/TommyRobinsonOfficial/posts/107831843169780086 https://www.redvoicemedia.com/video/2022/02/the-people-of-saarbrucken-germany-stand-with-canada-and-demand-their-freedoms-back/
  3. 50 GOP senators but only a few I think are trying to do the right things: Rand Paul and John Kennedy, maybe Ron Johnson. I'm keeping an eye on Marsha Blackburn and Tommy Tuberville; it remains to be seen how they vote on major issues. Josh Hawley seems to make a lot of noise, but I'm not convinced yet. In the house, Jim Jordan, Paul Gossar, Thomas Massie, Mo Brooks, a few first-termers like Ronny Jackson, Laurent Boebert, maybe Marjorie Taylor Greene. Keeping an eye on Matt Gaetz and Lee Zeldin. We need term limits. We don't need senators and representatives who are so entrenched in their positions for decades that they no longer represent the people they're supposed to represent.
  4. Why do you think we have so many democrat-lite republicans? When their party becomes unacceptable to voters, they switch party and run as republican. But once elected, they push for liberal policies. The real kicker is, the GOP leadership has more in common with the democrat-lites than the conservative voter base. But they know that the conservatives will not vote for the democrats so they get away with betraying their voters. For example, the GOP campaigned for smaller government and fiscal responsibility, yet when they get in power, the federal government got bigger, debt got bigger, no budget and spending skyrockets. Other than abortion and gun rights, what's the difference between rep and dem politicians? As George Carlin used to say, "It's a big club, and we [the voters/public] are not in it."
  5. Report: Democrats Flee from Associating with Democrat Party, ‘Brand Is so Toxic’ https://www.breitbart.com/midterm-election/2022/02/17/report-democrats-flee-from-associating-with-democrat-party-brand-is-so-toxic/ I guess that's why 30 democrat representatives are not running for reelection.
  6. They're also protesting at the border in Surrey BC for the 4th weekend in a row. https://nypost.com/2022/02/19/canadian-covid-mandate-protesters-block-us-border-in-british-columbia/ Meanwhile, they arrested 100+ in Ottawa: https://nypost.com/2022/02/19/canadian-police-arrest-over-100-people-in-trucker-protests/ I don't think violence and authoritarian tactics would stop the protests. If anything, it would strengthen the resolve of the participants and supporters. They should continue because the police will hunt them down anyway if they go home. And it's not just a Canadian issue. Similar protests and convoys are going on in Europe, Australia, NZ, and soon, the US. Canadian truckers may have started it, but it is now a worldwide event. Corporate media aren't reporting all these protests, but you can see what's going on through social media and alt media.
  7. Please point out which part of the tweets I posted is a lie. Link the article debunking the lie so readers can see for themselves all angles of the story. She was trampled, videos and photographs show that. Sara Carter of Fox News retracted that she died. My post didn't say anything about her dying. Here's a recap of the whole incident. https://thepostmillennial.com/breaking-woman-by-mounted-police-officers-in-ottawa
  8. Recent statements from the Freedom Convoy organizers: "Look at your country, Canada. You can act now or you can weep later." Images from Gab:
  9. More about the woman trampled by horses and the Ottawa Police lied about her: In 1989, tanks were used by the Chinese military against peaceful protesters. In 2022, police horses were used to trample peaceful protesters. Tyrants use the same tactic, albeit employing different tools.
  10. Nice! Thanks for posting about Berritt's new song. I found the YT link from his FB post: I added the song to the first post, along with the links to stream or buy.
  11. Texas Sues Biden Admin Over Federal Mask Mandate On Planes, Public Transport BY TYLER DURDEN THURSDAY, FEB 17, 2022 - 12:05 PM Authored by Mimi Nguyen Ly via The Epoch Times, Texas on Wednesday filed a lawsuit against the Biden administration over its federal mask mandate on public transport, including on airplanes and airports. https://www.zerohedge.com/political/texas-sues-biden-admin-over-federal-mask-mandate-planes-public-transport First few paragraphs below: I hope more states join the lawsuit.
  12. I guess Trudeau wants Canada to be like China. What's next, Tiannamen Square?
  13. Additional info [also cross-posted on CV thread]: The Twitter account has been nuked already. Here's a screenshot: And here's the video on YT (still not banned): alternate video links: Project Veritas Gab Media Summary below:

  15. Courage is contagious. Freedom is contagious. The more Trudeau and the little tyrants try to intimidate and threaten the truckers, more people will show up to protest. https://www.zerohedge.com/markets/police-arrest-ambassador-bridge-truckers-dawn-raid-after-thousands-flock-demonstration
  16. And on the "Likely Voter" poll too. But I won't get too excited. As long as the same people are in the leadership (McConnell, Graham, McCarthy and their ilks), there won't be major legislation passed. Maybe a few tax cuts and regulation cuts, but the same overspending of money we don't have and money-laundering foreign aid. Corruption runs in both parties.
  17. Thanks! I added the new song to the first post.
  18. Wait, what did I miss? What other thread? Thank you for the recap of Rachel's wonderful journey on The Voice. She was always underestimated but she was the most improved contestant of S20, and the last girl standing. I'm glad and grateful that Nick believed in Rachel and helped her grow on the show.
  19. Added! Welcome to the fan thread of S20's best girl.
  20. here’s a short video of FNC reporting on this story:
  21. Thank you. Now the song will get stuck in my head for days, again. EDIT: I added the new video to the first post.
  22. They're dems so nothing will probably be done to them. And the media will continue to ignore this big story. Just like they pretended that they didn't push the Russia hoax.
