He also endorsed an AG candidate in GA who didn’t win.

From what I understand, he’s pissed a lot of people off, including party officials, with some of his endorsements. PA was one example given, and AL (the unendorsement) was another.  I also read a few days ago that he’s not going to be endorsing as many in the coming weeks, because of some of the intra-party tension surrounding some of the endorsements.

Ah well, when did he not piss off a lot of people? 😅 Pissing off party officials and good old boy establishment type operatives is not necessarily a bad thing. It helps expose some of the entrenched local party members, some of them actively work against him.

A lot of people also agree with him on major issues (94% approval among Republicans) even though they don't like some of his appointments, endorsements and statements. He would continue to rally and campaign for his endorsed candidates which help them reach more potential voters.

Maybe you already counted it, but Trump’s endorsed candidate in the Georgia SOS race lost too. Given how much time and effort he’s made regarding “the stolen election” in that state, that loss coupled with Kemp’s blowout win should be a hint to stop focusing so much on 2020. MTG and Herschel Walker would have won their races without Trump’s endorsement. This is the case with the vast majority of his endorsements. I’m sure there are a few races where it has made a decisive difference, but it’s difficult to quantify. In most cases, he endorsed the overwhelming favorite (Rand Paul, MTG, Herschel Walker, for example), or waited until a candidate had momentum, so that he could take credit. Is he actually spending some of his PAC money on these races? I haven’t really looked into that.

I don’t think he put more effort into any other race than this one.  We had prominent Republican pollsters suggesting this could result in a runoff just the other day. Oops.

It will be interesting to see if he tries to sabotage Kemp for the General.

I didn't think about the SOS race or any other endorsements; I just listed the high profile ones I saw on the headlines of Rantingly from the TX runoff and GA and AR primaries. Trump said his record now is 100-6 in primary endorsements. Ultimately these endorsements don't matter much except for headlines and narratives.

I have no interest in political debates on this. There’s nothing I hate more than ambulance chasers rushing to politicize mass murder. I don’t care which end of the spectrum they’re on. I tune that shit out. Honestly, I think we have a mental illness epidemic among young adults. I’d like to blame it on Covid, but this was happening long before the pandemic.

    Yep.

I am saddened by the recent tragedy in Uvalde TX. Mental illness seems to be one of the common factors among these young killers but it is not being addressed. And if some of the info about this recent killer are confirmed, the media may stop reporting about this tragedy after a day or so.

The suggestions on that tweet you posted are all common sense solutions to enhance school safety. Most schools are gun-free zones, thus they're very soft targets.

  4. Some election headlines:

Brian Kemp Wins Georgia Governor’s Primary, Defeating David Perdue…

Perdue had no chance from the get go against an incumbent governor who secured his win with the Motor Fuel Tax suspension that ends on May 31, and a $500 tax rebate that went out last week.

Also, GA has open primary and there could be dems doing "operation chaos" to vote against Trump's candidate, though I don't know if there are enough to make a difference. Abrams ran unopposed, and looking at the votes comparison between parties, the GOP vote total is around 1.1 mil while the dem total is around 600k (for contested races) [source].

While the media and the GOP leadership like to hang the Perdue loss on Trump's neck, ultimately it's down to the candidates themselves. Herschel Walker (another Trump endorsee) handily won his Senate primary, and he outperformed Perdue by more than 500k votes (790k vs 260k).

Add the GA Gov primary in the loss column of Trump's endorsement scorecard which was 73-3 as of last week according to Ballotpedia. Updated scorecard, 73-4.

Several other Trump endorsees won their primaries/run-off (updated scorecard, 77-4):

Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton Wins Renomination Over George P. Bush…

Herschel Walker Wins Georgia’s GOP Nomination For Senate…

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene Wins GOP Primary In Georgia’s 14th District…

Sarah Huckabee Sanders Wins Republican Nomination For Arkansas Governor…

AG Paxton and Rep. Greene have very good chances for reelection. I expect outside money  will be contributed to their Dem opponents.

Herschel Walker have a very good chance to defear Warnock, the Dem incumbent, to flip a Senate seat from D to R, and possible GOP control of the Senate.

Sarah Huckabee Sanders has a pretty good chance to be the next governor of Arkansas.

Anyone else in the GOP talking about this? Anyone who pays attention knows this is not grandstanding.

Jack gives a quick summary. This is dangerous.

(I saw this gab from Epoch Times after I typed up my other reply.)

The House Freedom Caucus talked about the WHO earlier, and they asked Biden to return to Trump's plan to withdraw from WHO. I didn't read the full article (have to sign up for free account) so I don't know if they also mentioned the upcoming treaty.

    EDIT:

Stephen Miller (former Trump Sr. Advisor) of America First Legal sent a legal threat letter to Biden and his officials on 5/20/22:

Michelle Bachmann was talking about the WHO treaty a couple of weeks ago. I posted Tucker's segment about the WHO treaty a couple of pages back. Several GOP MAGA politicians posted about the WHO treaty on other social media sites too, mostly on Gab and Telegram.

Outside US, Brazil's President was in (alt media) news a couple days ago, saying that he will not sign over his country's sovereignty to WHO.

    EDIT:

I've known about the WHO treaty for a couple of months now, from reading other web sites. I'm surprised that Sen. Ron Johnson and Sen. Rand Paul have not said anything about it yet. Maybe because the matter will eventually come to the Senate if Biden signs up for it.

From the Senate website (emphasis mine):

"The United States Constitution provides that the president "shall have Power, by and with the Advice and Consent of the Senate, to make Treaties, provided two-thirds of the Senators present concur" (Article II, section 2).

Then there's this Gab post pointing out that there's a Feb 2021 patent application for a corona/pox vaccine:

Dr. Malone's blog article is very informative:

    https://rwmalonemd.substack.com/p/monkey-pox

    Conclusion (emphasis mine):

In my opinion, based on currently available information, Monkeypox is a virus and disease which is endemic in Africa, emerges sporadically after transmission into humans from animal hosts, and is typically spread by close human contact. It is readily controlled by classical public health measures. It does not have a high mortality rate. Unless there has been some genetic alteration, either through evolution or intentional genetic manipulation, it is not a significant biothreat, and has never been considered a high threat pathogen in the past.

That could be contributing to those low approval ratings among young adults. The people in that photo probably wear a mask to mow their lawn.

I haven't seen anyone wear mask to mow their lawn, but I see some who are wearing mask while driving alone, and someone who regularly walks (exercise) in the neighborhood, wearing a mask. Whatever gives them peace of mind, I guess.

    EDIT:

And I agree that the covid restrictions by dems would contribute to low approval ratings among young adults.

Is that Bernie Sanders in the light blue coat, toward the middle? :haha:

Looks like they’re having a blast! You couldn’t pay me enough to hang out with that group for an entire day.

Maybe that contributed to the low attendance at the DFL convention - requiring test, ID, and masks. Some dems are done with the Covid theater.

    EDIT:

Someone could shop the Bernie Sanders meme in that picture and he wouldn't look out of place in that "crowd".

Hey yall do you have any information when Girls in my hometown and f-150 performance videos will come out? On Spotify there were a couple seconds of each video and i remember Danielle did a story about them like 3 months ago but the full videos are still not on YouTube.

I have not heard about plans to release (and I'm not sure if they're planning to release) performance videos for "Girls in my Hometown" and "F-150". She released a couple of videos for "Girls..." in October 2020 - lyrics video and stairwell session -  but they didn't really promote the song like the next single after "Never Have I Ever."  Since then, they released "Stop Draggin' Your Boots" and "Break My Heart Again." When she tried to release "F-150" in 2020, there was some mix-up or misunderstanding with the original singer, so I'm not sure if it will get more promo this time. I'm glad that they included both songs in the latest collection album.

  11. WHO wants to dictate how a country deals with plandemics, and the western countries including the US will gladly hand over the control over its citizens' healthcare to a foreign entity.

True, but many people generally become more conservative with age. “Low information” probably is a big part of it. I’m assuming they notice how much a gallon of gas costs, along with everything else. It’s weird.

I’ll be interested to see if this dynamic transfers to congressional and statewide races too. For example, once Charlie Crist wins the Dem nomination in FL, will the youngest demographic  overwhelmingly favor DeSantis? As of right now, I’m thinking they probably will.

DeSantis will handily win reelection. The polls may later show tightening race, but that's just so people will continue to watch the political s-shows.

Remember how high Obama’s numbers always were with that same group? This is a stunning reversal. On the flip side, Biden’s highest numbers usually come from the boomers. WTF?

    Hispanics hate him too.

Boomers are the ones still watching cable/TV "news" and political shows, while young people stream their shows, and do more independent research on the web.

I was hoping for another label for her who actually cares and will support Danielle but i know that its so hard to find a new label and i guess Danielle has no choice but to be stuck with BM.

Or maybe she actually likes working with her current team and the label she now has. They could have promoted her more, but they have supported her through releasing more singles and a 2nd album (and hopefully more albums) despite her lack of chart success since THOD.

Danielle decided to continue working with BMLG, so I support her decision and hope for the best for her.

Again, the youngest subset giving Biden the lowest approval number. 66% of them must be racists and homophobes. Did I do that right?

They also oversampled Democrats and Independents by a lot.

There's hope yet for this country; young people aren't buying the media and dem propaganda. I think the approval numbers are still too high for Brandon.

  16. Marjorie Taylor Greene talks about the baby formula shortage:

They don't have shortage at the border though. Baby formula for illegals, paid for by US taxpayers, but shortage at the stores for citizens and residents.

who knows if true but there was also a recall on the company that makes 40% of formula

That happened a couple of months ago. Similac and a couple other brands of baby formula/food has been recalled.

Abbott, the manufacturer, plans to reopen the plant that produced the recalled products, subject to FDA approval.

STURGIS, Mich. — Abbott's Sturgis plant could reopen within the next two weeks, subject to FDA approval, Abbott representatives announced Wednesday on their online newsroom.

However, consumers wouldn't see products on shelves for about six to eights weeks after the plant reopens.
