One good thing about Bryce being in the wildcard instant save, we got an extra performance from him. But I hope he gets the public vote and avoids the instant save in the next few weeks.

I don't know if Blake is "being strategic" as he said, or as my husband said, "Gwen told him to save Rowan". Luckily for Bryce, he won the instant save, despite all the efforts to send him home. Monday's song didn't do him any favors; his IS song was well sung but he performed first and they had the surefire vote-getter (emotional song with belting) perform last. If Bryce gets to pick his dedication song next week, I hope he'll pick an emotional song. Bryce needs to forward his Twitter ID to Blake so he can put it in his tweets. On Monday night's Blake tweet, encouraging his followers to vote, he included everyone's Twitter handle except Bryce (he just typed "Bryce" which can be easily missed). He also didn't include Bryce's Twitter ID in his tweets to vote for Bryce in the instant save. I don't know why he didn't mention it in his tapings and I don't want to speculate on his possible reason. He won because he was the best voice that season and he was fortunate to be on a strong team, vote wise. I don't think it would have affected his chances of winning.

I just realized I'm not on the list. Please add me. I love Devix's voice and style. I hope he continues to get great songs to cover.

1. Brayden - He had a breakout KO performance followed by a good PO performance that gained a lot of social media support. It seems TPTB chose him to be the country finalist and gave him songs that suits his voice and abilities. If he continues to grow during the season, it could backfire on TPTB and he'll actually win the show. 2. bodie - TPTB has clearly been pushing him, and closing the show with an emotional performance allowed him to edge out Bryce for the PV this week. He won't win but he can be used to block Bryce from making the finale. 2. Bryce - TPTB obviously does not want him anywhere near the finale, as evidenced by the kinds of songs they've given him after the blinds. I don't see TPTB stopping now. 4. Morgan - She's "best girl" this season and I'm not even a fan yet. She'll probably go up in my rankings depending on what songs are assigned to Brayden and Bryce next week. 5. Parijita - She's good but I think her SM numbers are inflated by International viewers and she's not at Maelyn's level yet. 6. Justin - If he goes the gospel route, he has the best chance to make the finale among the rest. 7. Omar - He's got people voting for him. He'll need better songs to have a chance of getting into the top 5. 8. Devix - Not many people predicted him to get the PV before the playoffs but I predicted he would. I think he'll continue to perform well going forward, and he will make it to the semis. 9. Kique - I go back and forth between Devix and Kique on the 8/9 placement. They're both good vocalists and entertaining performers though their styles are quite different. But Kique is more at risk with one wrong song than Devix. This placement could improve if he shows a noticeable growth arc in future rounds. 10. Rowan - She may outlast Kique and Devix and actually make the semifinals just on the strength of Team Blake voting, but she's also the most vulnerable to song sabotage among Team Blake members. 11. Kim - TPTB has not been very supportive of Kim, with lack of promotion during the pre-lives. Maybe they have decided on Parijita and Omar as John's frontrunners, as shown by their positive edits, song choices, and favorable performance slots. 12. Alyssa - She's arguably the weakest member of Team Gwen in the Top 16 (based on Monday's performances) but we all knew Gwen's gonna pick her anyway. She will not have the coach save next week. 13. Eric - He's arguably the weakest member of Team Camila in the Top 16 (based on Monday's performances) but we all knew Camila's gonna pick him anyway. He won't have the coach save next week.

I hope you're right. He needs the right songs though, songs that will showcase his baritone and storytelling skills. So glad he beat all the obstacles thrown his way this week, from the song choice, Blake's decision, and IS performance order. This wildcard win is sweet.

It seems the number of FB likes is aligned with the PV results - Top 2 in likes got the PV; except for Team Blake, where bodie has the lowest number of likes but got the PV anyway.

Well, Camila's fans are probably not on FB. Maybe their TikTok and IG numbers won't be at the bottom.

Parijita will have the most views from that group. As to votes, the views-to-likes ratio could be a better metric to watch. Based on that, Parijita and Kim would probably get the public votes. Unless Omar has hidden voters not reflected on social media.
