  6. Over most of my life, I have been able to separate between the art and the artist. As long as the art itself is actually good quality, etc., it makes it much easier to separate the two and focus on the art. I will say though... for most of my life, artists didn't generally go out of their way to publicly disparage any particular group of people by categorizing people and making a certain group (or groups) feel inferior, nor did they feel compelled to attach themselves to current events and people's emotions about them... They didn't view themselves personal news broadcasters or commentators. Social media has certainly made it more difficult for artists to focus on just their craft. And some probably assume they won't stay relevant on social media if they don't address "hot topics". For the longest time, artists tended to view themselves as ones who could bring people together and touch people in a universal, creative way. I wish most of them kept their art as their main focus and drive.
  7. Well, Safara gets eliminated first. Either Seven or Orlando will move on to the finale.
  8. Gosh, this was a hard one for me. I don't think Seven has the strongest voice, but there's definitely more dynamics in her voice than in Safara's. I really think Safara needed to do something interesting with her vocal performance of "Stronger" in order to stand out more and replace Seven on the diamond.
  9. And to think, she wanted Xander out soooo bad. I think it's safe to say, she won't be voting for him if he manages to make it to the final tribal.
  10. This twist is dumb... But this tribal unexpectedly became an emotional one.
  11. although, he could survive the twist, only to get voted out, right?
  12. Deshawn immediately becomes the do-or-die contestant.
  13. don't some people say that they would vote to give someone a million dollars only to put a bigger target on that person's back on purpose??
  14. Thankful that Jershika was saved!! She was my favorite performance last night! I don't want to see her go before the weaker vocalists still in the competition...
  15. Seriously, I think it's gonna be hard to find two contestants who can match what those two just did in the pop diva battle
  16. John & Kelly beat Blake & Ariana to win and host Jimmy Fallon ends up getting sprayed with water in the recording booth.
  17. Jershika > Hailey > Paris > Lana > GNT > Wendy > Jeremy > Joshua > Holly > J&S
  18. Kelly and John Legend vs. Blake & Ariana. This show is cracking me up. Even if it goes off the air soon, the first episode was still hilarious to me.
