Ok, DeAndre, we get it... It’s just disappointing that you won’t acknowledge great talents, like Christina Grimmie (rip) and Addison Agen, just because of what team they were on. As a matter of the fact, you criticize Adam for caring little about the contestants and only about a coach win, when you basically do the same thing by not acknowledging talent because of a coach.8 points

this is really off-topic, but i don't know where else to post this so lmao i was looking up the term "voice-voting" for a history class, and because google knows that i'm obsessed with the voice, all i'm getting is stuff about how to vote for the voice8 points

I wonder if you would say the same thing if Carter was on Team Adam.8 points

As long as you don’t go overboard, and call it the “best KO ever” or something crazy like that, it’s fine. When I say, “one of the best,” there’s no ranking attached to it, so nobody can get a clean shot at me.7 points

I leave the forum for an hour and this is what I come back to - why do I always miss the fun stuff?6 points

I’ll break the tie. Carter’s performance of You Say was good for any age. The Mariah cover wasn’t as strong, but good enough to get the job done.6 points

"Celebrities Plus, Inc." sounds like the sleazy talent agency made up for a D-list production of a La La Land knockoff, tbh.5 points

Zan talked about this in a live once. She said she was 100% expecting Carson to say “Allegra Miles” and she was completely shocked when he didn’t and she couldn’t hide her reaction5 points

Really? I don't really see how Carter DOESN'T win at this point. His social media numbers are really high AND he appeals to both Minivan and casuals. Unless he gets "You Oughta Know" next week, I don't see any of the others overtaking him, but even then.....5 points

For Carter and Chloé, I think that overshadowed means the reception it got from the audience. You can prefer Chloé´s KO to Carter´s (and hell, the more I listen to her performance, I´m starting to prefer it too) and say that she overshadowed him for you, but you can´t deny that Chloé was barely talked about on social media that day. Almost all of the comments were about Carter, and the huge numbers as well. So at the end of the day, she did get overshadowed by Carter in the core audience´s eyes, who are most of the people that vote on the show.4 points

It’s very opinion based because YOU can’t remember what she sang, Chloe is the only KO I go back to listen to and it sucks because I have to skip through Carter’s generic performance.4 points

stephanie cole from the voice australia yeah, this is just opinion-based. i strongly preferred chloe's performance to his, but i cannot deny that carter gave a VERY strong performance. i was just so shocked by chloe because her audition didn't show off everything about her4 points

It's fan week so I'm guessing a lot of people suggested "when the party's over". I hope to get some hints later4 points

I mean, Carter winning checks all the boxes: Gwen´s first win, adorable teen boy, great vocalist, and a change after two singers that many consider similar (even though they are not) won back to back. And if Carter doesn´t win somehow, then Gwen is never going to. Interestingly enough we might be looking at a S17 situation here, we thought Gwen, like Kelly in S17, had by far the weakest team and was going to miss the finale, and yet, now as Kelly did in that season, Gwen very likely has the winner. And Carter is not my favorite of the Top 9 left, but I would consider4 points

Yeah, that song was way too big for him, but he did sort of pull it off. I agree he shouldn´t get another song like that one, but I´m not sure Minivan would abandon him if that happens at this point. He´s done what he needed to do to win.4 points

The different looks on their faces is what makes this photo. None of them were expecting that.4 points

it's really weird, i've never liked country males, but this season, i like ben, ian, and jim (though he's not fully country ig?). i also really liked tanner's BA. i guess the thing for me is that i always find someone else that i like more than them, so they'll never be a snowflake, and oftentimes, i'll end up disliking them because they'll take out my favorites lmao. it also is annoying to me that the standard for male country singers seems to be so much lower. they can do practically nothing with their voice and coast through with just a "tone" that people like, while4 points

Even though I’m on IDF, I never check the spoilers for rounds or search up artists because I want to be unbiased for Blind Auditions. And Cami was my favourite audition by far and her slayage has only increased since. First artist I followed this season. Add me, please!3 points

I wouldn't rule out the possibility of one of Blake's country guys pulling an upset.3 points

“Overshadowed.” There is plenty of evidence. Just go read through the comments under the Facebook and Youtube videos. It’s all about Carter. I don’t think “overshadowed” is an opinion of who’s performance was “better.” It’s a statement of fact. It happens all the time on this show.3 points

Unfortunately, they would likely have to get past Ben and Jim for the save, which is a tall order.3 points

I'd say any mildly capable singer could nail that song the way he did so I disagree with that. I agree that "You Say" will probably be his winning performance though. Even Reagan Strange got some hype and two consecutive steaming bonuses when she got that song. I'm not particularly impressed.3 points

IMO, it was one of the best KOs of any season. The fact that his voice hasn’t fully matured may make it less appealing to some people, but It doesn’t take away from the quality of the performance. “Hero” was dangerously close to biting off more than he can chew, but he survived it. He should avoid another song choice like that one.3 points

It’s one of the best versions I’ve heard, but I respect your opinion.3 points
