Imposters

I’m starting to wonder how much I’m gonna depend on a randomizer in this rankdown to choose my saves & cuts. Truly an inspired website.

So my cut landed on Imposters, a shoe I know nothing about. Wikipedia my old friend please help me. So it’s a comedy show that aired on Bravo, and had two seasons (it’s cancelled btw). It’s about con artist Maddie, who gets involved with men and women and robs them. LMFAO this is a concept and a half. Anyway, I’m short on time atm so if this is too short I will add to it. Out it goes

Quantico

IPB Image

Like I said, I’d never seen any of the remaining shows, so I just went with cutting the one that appeared to have the worst reviews of the bunch. Sorry to my mom, as I think I remember her liking this show :haha: Quantico aired on ABC for 3 seasons from Sept 2015-Aug 2018 before being cancelled. The main character of the show is Alex Parrish, played by the beautiful Priyanka Chopra, a recent graduate of the FBI Academy who joined the Bureau with some other recent recruits. Alex becomes the prime suspect in a huge terrorist attack that involved Grand Central Terminal. The show bounces back and forth in timelines with the present being Alex on the run and attempting to prove her innocence, and the past being the recruits training and getting to know each other at the academy. Now that I’m writing this, I do remember my mom talking about confusing timelines with this show. Reviews I was reading criticized both the acting and the writing/plot. Not sure how true that is, since I really haven’t watched, but the show was cancelled after only a few seasons, so there must be something to it.

Quantico

Aww a bit sad to see Quanticomgo only because I love Priyanka Chopra. But then it's a show I only saw a few episodes of here and there and never really got sucked into it. So ultimately, I'm fine with it going. :haha:

What if left?

I believe these are left:

Revenge

Cloak & Dagger

IPB Image

I really didn't care which tv show got cut so I flipped a coin and Revenge won out. Cloak & Dagger, is an American superhero television series created for Freeform by Joe Pokaski. It is based on the Marvel Comics characters of the same name. It is set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), sharing continuity with the films and other television series of the franchise. The series is produced by ABC Signature Studios, Marvel Television, and Wandering Rocks Productions, with Pokaski serving as showrunner. The shows starred Olivia Holt and Aubrey Joseph as Tandy Bowen / Dagger and Tyrone Johnson / Cloak, the two main characters on the show with superpowers. The first season aired from June 7 to August 2, 2018, and was met with positive reviews. Freeform renewed the series for a second season in July 2018, which premiered on April 4, 2019 and concluded on May 30, 2019. The series was canceled on October 24, 2019. 2 seasons; 20 episodes and not it's out.

The IT crowd

TBA

The IT Crowd is a British sitcom originally broadcast by Channel 4, written by Graham Linehan, produced by Ash Atalla and starring Chris O'Dowd, Richard Ayoade, Katherine Parkinson, and Matt Berry. I’ve seen memes and gifs of it before so I’m not that unfamiliar with the show. This isn’t 100 words but I will come back to this later. And I’m sure this show is ok but I don’t know it so out it goes.

Joe Millionaire

TBA :haha:

It’s early and I’m barely waking up but I had to rush to save on My My Block which is a critically acclaimed Netflix show that features Latins and African—Americans so you know I had to save it. I love the show as well so that made it easy too. So back to the show being cut; Joe Millionaire premiers on Fox. I know that much. I’m not using Wikipedia for this so forgive me. The show premiered in 2003/2004 and the finale brought in 40 million viewers I want to say. The premise was simple; You get a regular joe pretend he is a millionaire and find out which girls are there for love or money. I don’t remember the finale or what happened tbh. He should have done porn after the show. He should have made bank.

ALL MY CHILDRENi

Honestly no idea what this show is. It aired on ABC i guess and it is a soap opera. The soap opera is about a suburb called Rosemont. It's your typical soap opera so there's some drama, love story, divorce, death... Its best known due to Susan Lucci. Her role in the show got her the title of the daytime leading lady. She was also nominated 21 times at the Daytime Emmy Awards for her portrayal, but she only won once. Oh wow it aired for 41 years but I think most soap operas air that long or even longer. It ended on 2011 and got saved by The Online Network. Slay i guess. Honestly I have no opinion about this show and I am just trying to reach the 100 word count. If anyone likes this show I am sorry but I feel like everyone is doing a Wally by cutting shows they have never heard nor seen. Also it's not my type of show so bye.

SAVING: QUEER AS FOLK

Property Brothers

It seems like there are a bunch of shows about buying houses so I figured I would just cut one of them here. In this show Twin brothers Jonathan and Drew Scott aim to help couples find fixer-uppers and transform them into dream homes. While I have never see this show this seems like the plot to a lot of these type of shows. The potential home buyers have to take a risk to make the twins' vision come true, and it's up to Jonathan and Drew to convince the couples that purchasing an older home in need of work is the best option. Cool such an innovative and fun idea for a show not.... That's really all I gotta say about this show so out of goes from this rankdown.

Saving Vampire Diaries

AGENT CARTER

photo be added when Steven reminds me

Agent Carter is an ABC series centred around Peggy Carter from the Marvel Cinematic Universe. I don’t know why her character necessitated a full series, but c’est le vie. It has eighteen episodes spread across its two seasons, and both seasons aired in the interim of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. taking a break. In the first season, Agent Carter assists Howard Stark after he’s accused of treason. The second season finds her in Los Angeles preventing an atomic age. It was well received critically and contributed to the MCU being so successful, but I’ve never seen it and didn’t really have a desire to, so out it goes now.

SAVE: American Dad

Case Closed

TBA

I don’t even know if I’m writing about the right show but here we go I’m on a Lyft and only have my phone as my guide. :giggle: I could have sworn Case Closed was going to be some drama, mystery or thriller show. It’s an anime? Please someone correct me if I am writing about the wrong show. So Case Closed, also known as Detective Conan is a Japanese detective manga series written and illustrated by Gosho Aoyama. It has been serialized in Shogakukan's Weekly Shōnen Sunday since January 19, 1994, and has been collected into 97 tankōbon volumes as of December 18, 2019. Due to legal problems with the name Detective Conan, the English language releases from Funimation and Viz were renamed to Case Closed. The story follows the high school detective Shinichi Kudo (renamed as Jimmy Kudo in the English translation) who was transformed into a child while investigating a mysterious organization and solves a multitude of cases while impersonating his childhood best friend's father and other characters. I feel like i am doing a write-up about a show that is completely not this one. :dead: I’m so lost.

Fam

Pic later

Just now waking up so this write up will be bare bones lol.

Fam is an American sitcom that stars Nina Dobrev as Clem. She is looking forward to a perfect life after getting engaged to her fiancé Nick, played by Tone Bell. But her life is thrown into chaos when her out of countries teenage half sister moves in with her and her estranged father Freddy, who is a police detective, come back into her life. Well I guess That’s why you don’t let estranged or crazy people back into your life in the first place. It was cancelled after one season by CBS and only had an approval rating of 40% on Rotten Tomatoes so doesn’t look like a big loss.

Saving: Disappeared

Lilo & Stitch: The Series

There was a couple shows on the list that I didn't mind seeing go but they got saved so I am cutting this show as I have no attachment to it. Sorry to any of it's fans. I am familiar with the movie but not the tv series. Lilo & Stitch: The Series is an animated television sequel spin-off series of the feature film Lilo & Stitch, and the follow-up to Stitch! The Movie. It is the first television series in the Lilo & Stitch franchise. Continuing where Stitch! The Movie left off, Lilo and Stitch are given the task of collecting the rest of Jumba's missing experiments, changing them from bad to good and finding the one place where they truly belong. Meanwhile, the former Captain Gantu and his reluctant partner Experiment 625 try to capture the experiments for the imprisoned Dr. Hämsterviel.

So that's the basic premise of the tv show and movie really. Like I said never watched the tv show and I am just meh about the movie itself so I am fine making this cut at this point.

Saving Under the Dome.

Nikita

IPB Image

Goodbye to another CW show. This one was relatively enjoyable. It suffered from characters being a little too straightforward though. I do prefer some ambiguity in characters. It makes things more interesting. The plot is exceptionally convoluted. There is a spy agency. They are bad. They pretend they aren't. (hello Alias) Someone escapes them and then puts a spy in of their own. #surprisebitch

There's the top bad guy who is really manipulative. There's the slightly lower bad guy (played by the amazing Melinda Clarke...hello the OC). There's the pretty boy from A Walk to Remember.

It's some brainless fun if you are interested. You could just watch Alias instead.
