I refuse to use a gif of Kyle Massy so here we are. I can't handle this show. Young Diana hated it, older woman Diana still hates it. Is it on Disney plus? Because I am going to have fighting words if they can put that on their giving money and royalties to a child predator but not pit on Sofia The First for my obsessed 3 year old. Yes I am cutting it because it has trash in it for its main character but honestly it was never a good show. Raven outsold every day of the week. I guess I get why they did a spin off because of how successful That's So Raven was but this show was totally uninspired, unfunny and lacked the magic of the original Raven snow. It just was never any good at all. Adding my disappointment in Kyle it made this a easy choice to make.

Famous in Love

Famous in Love is a teen drama series that aired on Freeform (RIP ABC Family). It stars Bella Thorne whose names is familiar to me but I actually don't know a single thing about her or what she's done/been in (besides this now I guess). It's about an ordinary high school girl who gets cast as the lead in a Hollywood blockbuster and is propelled into stardom. All the characters are pretty generic, run of the mill characters whom you'd expect to see in a Freeform drama. There's multiple love triangles, the douchebag whose secretly a softie, the secretly bisexual best friend, the stage mom, etc. Oh the showrunner is the same as the woman who did Pretty Little Liars. Famous in Love only lasted two seasons so I suppose it didn't catch on as well as Pretty Little Liars (not that I'm a fan of that). Literally every single person in this cast is insanely attractive good for them!

Mildred Pierce

Most of the shows I wanted to save - were eiteh saved or cut, and thankfully the cuts weren’t any huge favorites of mine so my save choice was easy. But yeah Mildred Pierce is the show i am cutting because I never hear of this show at all but I am ready to learn about it.

Mildred Pierce is a 5-part miniseries that aired on HBO from March 27 through April 10, 2011, which is based of the James M Cain 1941 novel of the same name. So it only had 5 episodes so not a major loss. The show stars Kate Winslet, Guy Pearce, Miriam Shor, Evan Rachel Wood, Melissa Leo, Morgan Turner, James LeGros an others. Kate is a great actress so I am sure this is a great show.

Mildred Pierce takes a look in and showcases an overprotective, self-sacrificing mother during the Great Depression - who is separated from her husband - but then opens up her own restaurant and falls in love with another man al while trying to raise her spoiled narcissistic daughter in the best way possible even though they don’t have the strongest relationship.

Here’s a trailer of the show:

The Great Christmas Light Fight.

What the actual bleep is this. I guess it's probably self explanatory but I guess I will Wikipedia it anyways. Each episode of The Great Christmas Light Fight features a series of families or groups that create elaborate Christmas light displays. Okay that's what I assumed it was about but still. Apparently there has been 7 seasons of this which really just blows my mind. Here's some more information on it. The contestants are chosen in advance by producers. The displays are judged on three categories: use of lights, overall design, and Christmas spirit. Each display is first individually featured, then the judge or judges review the display and its specific details. Once all contestants have been reviewed, a winner is chosen, and the judges return to the winner to congratulate them. The winner of each week's episode wins $50,000 and a holiday-themed trophy. People will watch anything on tv I guess. Oh well out it goes from this rankdown.

Secrets and Lies

You know you like a lot of TV when all your safety requests are honored, and you still like half the nominees. :bye2: Hopefully more will be saved than cut, but at least none are huge top favorites, which I do appreciate. Secrets and Lies is a mystery anthology show that aired on ABC between 2015 and 2016, and is based on an Australian show by the same name. The story follows Detective Andrea Cornell, played by Juliette Lewis, as she investigates homicides. The show received mixed reviews and was cancelled after two seasons. I do like mysteries, so maybe I would enjoy this show if I were to watch. I never heard of it until now though, and I had to make a cut, so sorry to any fans. :(

Secrets and Lies

I brought this show into the rankdown and meant the Australian version, not the US version which was...not so good. :) Should've advocated for someone to save it in the thread. Thankfully not a big favorite though.

Ooh awww I liked the US version - although I watched some episodes of Season 1 and was kinda really into it. Then I forgot to tune into it for Season 2. :haha:

I don’t care for any of these shows so let me know if someone has any preferences

I'll be happy and appreciative of any saves for: Songland or The Newlywed Game. :teehee:

I think you would've liked the second season better because it had Mekia Cox in it and a lot of the supporting cast was black as well. :haha: But I didn't care for the lead character so that brought it down.

I believe I got into watching the show with my aunt when there was nothing else on TV, then I watched some of the remaining episodes. I know Michael Elay was in S2 and I like him so ugh I do wish I had watched that one. Maybe I will in the future. :haha: I'm not too familiar with Mekia Cox. :o

Oooh no... I wish I would have known and would have definitely changed the cut. :( I also just figured it was the U.S. version since there was no indication. >.

Hunter x Hunter is worth saving. ^_^

...But I’m the host and shouldn’t say anything, but just thought I’d mention it since you say you have no preference. :stealth:
