I changed from Killjoys because while I don't know it, it is Canadian. This stars Anne Hatheway, and she's annoying when she started whoring herself out for an Oscar. Anyway Anne plays Lexi. Tina Fey is also in the show. I am a bad gay for cutting Tina Fey . Sorry Tina. Modern love is a romantic comedy web television series. Looks like the series aired on Amazon's streaming service, thus I would not know it. The series is still ongoing (started in Oct of this year), and currently has 8 episodes. I watched the first season of this show. It is certainly something. It tries so hard to be edgy and dark and it does not land. It really is just trying too hard. The upside of his medicore show, is introducing me to Bill Skarsgard. What a lovely, lovely man. If you just stare at him the whole time, the show becomes more enjoyable. :icecream: Unless he is not in the scene. That doesn't work out nearly as well. Anyway. It was one of the first netflix original shows. It was also the first to be cancelled. Somehow it lasted 3 seasons. I am really not sure how. I could have sworn Case Closed was going to be some drama, mystery or thriller show. It’s an anime? Please someone correct me if I am writing about the wrong show. :roll: So Case Closed, also known as Detective Conan is a Japanese detective manga series written and illustrated by Gosho Aoyama. It has been serialized in Shogakukan's Weekly Shōnen Sunday since January 19, 1994, and has been collected into 97 tankōbon volumes as of December 18, 2019. Due to legal problems with the name Detective Conan, the English language releases from Funimation and Viz were renamed to Case Closed. The story follows the high school detective Shinichi Kudo (renamed as Jimmy Kudo in the English translation) who was transformed into a child while investigating a mysterious organization and solves a multitude of cases while impersonating his childhood best friend's father and other characters. Set in the fictional Summer Heights High School in an outer suburb of Sydney, it’s a documentary series of high-school life experience from the viewpoints of three individuals: Director of Performing Arts named Mr. G, private-school exchange student Ja’mie King, and vulgar Tongan student Jonah Takalua. The series lampoons Australian high-school life and many aspects of the human condition. It’s apparently filmed documentary style with non-actors playing supporting characters. Wait, what? That sounds intriguing to be honest. This show stars a guy named Chris Liley who plays multiple characters. Basically the three main characters I mentioned a while ago. Chris has done this from another show he was in. Sounds very narcissistic but okay. It’s a massive ratings success and received mostly positive critical reviews. It only ran for one season which is probably planned. I see there’s some controversy too about the show but I’m too lazy to type them. Anyways, in the bin ya gooooo! It's a Netflix series (oh cool, I'm saving one while ending the other) based on a 2002 novel by Richard K. Morgan (the novel is also named Altered Carbon btw). The series takes place in the future, where people's consciousness can be transferred to different bodies. The story centers around an investigator trying to solve a murder or something like that. Yeah, doesn't really sound like my thing (how tf I'm still cutting pseudo-police shows is beyond me, are there this many out there?), so if anyone was a big fan, you can give it a better send-off.
