totes4totes Posted December 20, 2019 Share Posted December 20, 2019 Bunheads I haven't really seen the abundance of CW/ABC Family shows nominated so I just picked one out of the hat to cut as I am in the middle of a major anxiety episode and don't have energy to really think about who to cut or save. These nominations were pretty great so I'll just assume my cut is warranted based on the nominations themselves. This show only got 1 season so I guess it didn't do too well. It aired in 2012. The show has a cast of about one star I recognize which would be Sutton Foster from Younger and the grandma from Gilmore Girls. Sutton didn't too bad for herself after this show flopped I guess. During my google search I found out Bunheads is about a Las Vegas showgirl who gets married quickly and has to teach at a school with her mother in law. Oh let me guess? This show started back in 2014. It started out on FX. I guess because of lack of ratings or whatever reason it ended up on FXX. This helped the show because it now has 5 seasons. That's certainly better than cancelling it. I lowkey feel bad about cutting this because it has very good reviews. At least I know everybody else had a chance first and didn't take advantage of it. Apparently season 2 dealt with clinical depression. That's a serious issue. :'( Saving Super Nanny because I keep my word. (!) :/ :/ :/ :/ :/ :/ :/ Pen15 I am going to pull a Wally this round and cut a show I've never heard of before and that happens to be Pen15. PEN15 is American comedy web television series that premiered on Hulu on February 8, 2019. It is described as "middle school as it really happened." Stars (and also executive priduecers) Maya Erskine and Anna Konkle play 13-year-old outcast versions of themselves in the year 2000 and are surrounded by actual 13-year-olds, where "the best day of your life can turn into your worst with the stroke of a gel pen". Alrighty then. It was renewed for a second season in May. As I indicated previously, I've never seen it nor heard of it so out it goes. aliasocfan Posted December 20, 2019 Share Posted December 20, 2019 Rocketpower I actually used to watch this. Sadly for it, I have watched Blindspot much more recently. It is not strong enough in the nostalgia for me to save it. This was on nickelodeon. It was on from 1999-2004. I can't believe it only had 4 seasons. It feels like it was on for much longer than that. The main characters are Otto Rocket, Reggie Rocket (just reading the wiki page, she was probably my favorite , Squid and Twister. Apparently they love extreme sports. Everything to do with extreme sports. That cannot be more different than myself. I am not sure how I ever related to these characters.
