Victorious

Bless at the Nico noms. This show had Ariana Grande in it and as such needs to be eliminated. Victorious is a Disney channel show that started Tori Vega as Victoria Justice (sounds like it could be a super hero name). The show had 57 episodes over 4 seasons and aired from March 10th, 2010 to Feb 2, 2013. Other main cast included Ariana Grande :x (as Cat valentine), Leon Thomas III (as Andre Harris), Matt bennett (as Robbie Shapiro), Elizabeth Gilles (as Jade West), Avan Jogia (as Beck Oliver) and Daniella Monet (as Trina Vega). Anyway this show is a performing arts highschool so lots of singing and dancing clips. Victorious had 4 emmy noms, great sounds awful.

Family Guy

IPB Image

This is really a terrible show I don't see why anyone would think its funny. Yet it's on all the damn time despite not being funny at all. Peter Griffin might be one of the worst characters ever created in tv show history. Stewie I guess had a few moments here and there but still not enough to save this show from being tragically terrible. Louise, Meg, and Meg's brother who's name I am drawing a blank on now are all pointless and not great characters either. It tried to be the Simpsons I guess but the Simpsons way out sold them on every front possible. That's a 100 words hopefully I never have to talk about Family Guy ever again.

Saving Revenge I guess.

TWO AND A HALF MEN

IPB Image

How does a show so terrible get to be so popular and last so long? I'm talking about Two and a Half Men, but if you also thought I meant The Big Bang Theory, I can't fault you. Anyway, this show starred Charlie Sheen, Angus T. Young and Jon Cryer. Charlie Sheen infamously got fired midway through the show's run after which he was replaced by Ashthon Kutcher. Angus T. Young eventually left a couple of seasons letter because he said he was no longer comfortable with the show after getting back involved with his religion or something. Anyway, Two and a Half Men was a Chuck Lorre creation. He's also known for the aforementioned TBBT as well as Two Broke Girls, which was his only passable show. But since it aired on CBS, aka the Caucasian Broadcasting System, I'm not surprised this meagre attempt at "humour" was renewed year and year, despite literally anybody with an ounce of taste recognizing how utterly terrible it was.

13 Reasons Why
IPB Image
Favorite Season: N/A
Favorite Character: Hannah Baker

In 8th grade we were forced to read this book and us 13 year old teens thought it was the #rawestandrealest sh*t we've ever read. Turns out it just relies on lazy stereotypes and borderline offensive plot points, but it works for 13 year olds. Teaches us the horrors of bullying and finality of suicide. I was intrigued when I found out they were making it into a tv series. As a one season miniseries I thought it could have worked well. I watched the first season on Netflix and I thought it was a Mess. There was a startling lack of nuance while attempting to discuss extremely sensitive topics. The suicide scene was played for shock value. Obviously they could not shy away from making it part of the story, but what does the viewer gain from watching it? There are very clear and real statistics out there as to why it causes more harm than good. I understand the points people try to make of not sugarcoating the ugly parts of life, but I don't think the viewer gains any valuable information on suicide by watching such a brutal and graphic scene. And I think maybe the scene could have worked better on a better show. Unfortunately, it was surrounded by useless teen drama scenes that are a dime a dozen on television. Overdramatic high school shows are not entertaining to me at all and, frankly, has no place in a show about suicide.
I have admittedly not seen the rest of the show, but from everything I've read about it, it just sounds like it's gotten worse. Apparently a kid gets raped by a broomstick and then later in the show we're supposed to feel sympathy for the rapist :x. The source material wasn't that strong in the first place, but going past the source material has clearly just turned the show into a sh*tty teen drama. Is Hannah even talked about on the show anymore? I doubt it. Sh*tty teen drama using serious real world topics for shock value. All the making of a sh*tty television show that deserves this extremely low placement.

#neverforgot Netflix going on and on about how it was important to the story to show it, but then removing it from all streams of the season once season two premiered.

Hannah Montana

IPB Image
IPB Image

I'm not really into all the Disney/Nickelodeon teen/kids show and beside from iCarly and Drake & Josh I don't really care for them, and I even would cut those two if there were against some other shows. I've never watched a single episode of Hannah Montana so sorry to any fans out there if this write-up doesn't make the show justice. The show is about Miley Stewart, a teenage that lives a double life as a normal girl by day and as a famous singer Hannah Montana by night. Her secret is only known by few and her method of disguise is using a blonde wig that fools no one tbh. The show lasted four seasons and it catapulted Miley Cyrus to fame so there's that. Besides the show, multiple soundtracks were released and also a movie so the show brought the big bucks. I don't know if this cut will be terrible for anybody but it is what it is.

The Suite Life of Zack & Cody

IPB Image

I'm not very big on teen Disney shows, and I'm not very big on sitcoms either, so this is a pretty easy decision for me to cut The Suite Life of Zack & Cody. Not only that, but it has a longer name so I can get to 100 words easier. How I love simplicity.

The Suite Life of Zack & Cody features Zack and Cody Martin, played by Dylan and Cole Sprouse. Apparently one of them is still in acting and one of them isn't but I forgot which one and I'm too lazy too look it up. :teehee: The show is set in the Tipton Hotel in Boston and focuses on their troublesome lives. It also features London Tipton (Brenda Song), the hotel manager, Mr. Marion Moseby (Phill Lewis), the hotel's candy counter girl Maddie Fitzpatrick (Ashley Tisdale), and the boys' single mother and Hotel's lounge singer, Carey Martin (Kim Rhodes). I think this is 100 words, so goodbye from this rankdown.

Saving: The Vampire Diaries due to Ian Somerhalder
