"Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind" is one of the best pieces ever. Very underrated.

Heidi Groskreutz-Burns
IPB Image
In honour of Tr*mp’s impeachment, I’m cutting Noted Republican™, Heidi Groskreutz-Burns. As we all know, Heidi was a ballroom dancer that made it to 4th place on the show’s second season, despite far more talented female contestants that season (notably Allison and Natalie). From the beginning, she was partnered with hip-hop dancer Ryan Rankine. The pair danced a five mostly lackluster routines together before the Top 10 and found themselves in the bottom group twice (Top 18 and Top 14) but were saved both times. Honestly, the semi finals in Season 2 were kind of hit or miss so I wasn’t surprised they made the Top 10. It was what happened after that that made me dislike Heidi. At the Top 10, the dancers swapped partners and Heidi ended up dancing a Paso and “Calling You” (“The Bench” routine) with Travis. The judges praised (and continue to praise) Calling You as one of the best routines the show has ever had. I’ll agree that Mia’s choreography was beautiful and that Travis danced it beautifully and gave an extremely emotional performance but I felt nothing from Heidi. If this is her “best” routine, then it truly wasn’t all that great for her. She danced some good routines with Benji the next week but it truly felt like the popularity of that one routine and the fact that she danced with either Benji or Travis (the eventual Top 2) the rest of the season that carried her into the finale over great talents. That, combined with her affiliation for white supremacists is why I feel no guilt in cutting her here.

Save: Kameron Bink who I always forget is a hip hop dancer.

Heidi. :( lol I knew she was gonna go when Andrew had it between Kameron and Heidi.... oh well.

I assume top half would mean the Top 5 in a 10-person cast. :*

Actually lemme NOT sass you so you don't nominate my favourites.

I would think this too.

Technically Kaylee is fifth and Logan is sixth, but I think for the double elimination contestants, they can count for either. :haha:

How was this clarified with them? :o

All of the tour merch had Kaylee listed between Kiki and Logan. You could say they just wanted to go guy/girl but Mark/Dassy/Sydney/Robert were still listed in their elimination order rather than having Mark and Sassy swapped. I also recall one of the judges mentioning they were surprised when they saw the actual vote order because they thought Logan was popular, which implied to me that he was last in the votes as well.
