Ty Murray robbed Lil' Kim of a spot in the semifinals of Season 8, and that simply will not happen in this Rankdown. NOT ON MY WATCH.

Ty Murray is a rodeo cowboy and the ex-husband of Queen Jewel. Ty partnered with Chelsie Hightower during Season 8 and lasted all the way until the semifinals, despite not really doing anything that I can actually remember. Honestly. Ty lasted the entire competition nearly and I cannot remember anything about his partnership nor his dances. Ty's final average is a 22.4 out of 30, which just goes to show how averagely he performed the entire competition.

Ty's first week of the competition saw him dance a Cha Cha, which received a score of 14. Ty quickly improved during Week 2 with his Quickstep, earning a score of 20. Ty continued this upward swing during Week 3 with his Foxtrot, scoring a 23. Ty continued his improvement streak through to Week 4, scoring a 25 for his Lindy Hop. Ty slipped on the leaderboard after his Week 5 Paso Doble, scoring a 21. Then he slipped even further after Week 6, scoring an 18 for his Jive. He bounced back though during Week 7, scoring a 24 for his Waltz. He scored a 24 again during Week 8 with his Salsa. Hilariously enough, Ty's highest score was the 28 he received as part of Team Tango during Week 8.

Yet somehow Ty just kept on advancing despite being completely okay and unmemorable. I'm not staying he robbed anybody in particularly, except for maybe Chuck. But Ty is so offensively bland. Anyways. Week 9 saw Ty dance an Argentine tango and a Rumba. 25 for the AT and 21 for the Rumba. After finally landing in the Bottom Two, he disgustingly and wrongfully robbed Lil' Kim of a spot in the Top 4. YUCK.

Luckily, we only had to endure Ty for one more week. During Week 10, Ty danced a Viennese Waltz and Samba. Ty scored a 25 for the VW and 23 for the Samba. He was eliminated that night. After revisiting his entire journey, I still cannot tell you anything about how his time on the show. But there are compilation videos above detailing the highlights of his journey. Watch them if you enjoy blandness.

Jerry Rice

IPB Image

Jerry Rice, considered to be the best wide-receiver in the history of American football, was a contestant in season 2 of Dancing With the Stars. He was paired with original and superior DWTS redhead, Anna "From Russia With Love" Trebunskaya and thanks to his football fanbase, made it all the way to 2nd place despite being a weaker dancer than Lisa Rinna and Queen Stacy Keibler. This was the first example on Dancing With the Stars of how powerful a sportsman's fanbase can carry him over superior female dancers and while Jerry wasn't Master P level-awful, he is definitely one of the weakest runner-ups on Dancing With the Stars, probably THE weakest until David Ross, another popular athlete whose fanbase took too far and knocked off superior female dancers as well. The nicest thing I can say about Jerry is that unlike a lot of NFL players, he doesn't seem to have any history of domestic violence and condemns those who do commit violence against women. He was also part of the comedic genius that was Dance Center. Still, his weak dancing and outlasting of Queen Stacy make him an easy cut.

His Week 1 dance is worth posting simply for Anna's "cookies" comeback :haha:

Saving: my guilty pleasure Tommy Chong whose partnership with Peta helped change the perception held by Facebook moms that she was nothing but *every vulgar term for women in the book* (I can't post the words they used because they were that disgusting, demeaning and sexist).

Chuck Wicks

Chuck for me is probably one of the most forgettable contestants that DWTS has had? He was basically only cast because he was dating Julianne, and at this point he had a few recent, mildly successful country hits, whilst Julianne was probably more famous in this relationship being one of the breakout pros on the show. They'd only been dating for a few months when they were announced as being one of the pairs on Season 8. Chuck was by no means a bad dancer - he was only really outlasted in terms of bad dancers by Ty, but Dee's already done the Lord's work and cut him whilst saving Lil Kim in this round. Idk, Chuck is just largely forgettable to me even though he made it to sixth place, as I feel like this season was really carried by Shawn, Gilles, Melissa and Kim. To add to the awkwardness, Chuck and Julianne split months after this season finished, and it was Julianne's last season as a pro.

David Alan Grier, known for his work on various sitcoms, appeared on the 8th season of Dancing With The Stars. The reason that I am cutting him is due to the fact that I completely forgot he was on the show; his participation on the show is a complete blur for me. So let's see what Wikipedia is telling me: He was partnered with Kym Johnson, and they lasted for a few weeks where they were doing slightly better than some contestants. They danced the following styles; Waltz, Salsa, Foxtrot, Lindy Hop, and Viennese Waltz - their best dance was the Foxtrot. They were eliminated in 9th place - anyway, fair spot for them as Season 8 was defined by other contestants.
