Ariel1989 Posted December 31, 2019 Share Posted December 31, 2019 Lisa Vanderpump Lisa Vanderpump is a Real Housewife who appeared in season 16 of Dancing With the Stars and was paired with then first-time pro Gleb Savchenko. Her Foxtrot in Week 1 and Jive in Week 2 were pretty unmemorable with the only thing memorable was Sasha as a bellhop carrying her dog in I think her Foxtrot (I don't care enough to rewatch). She was almost eliminated in the season's first elimination in Week 2 until Dorothy Hamill withdrew, saving Lisa or Victor Ortiz from becoming the first boot. Lisa and Gleb did a serviceable Viennese Waltz in Week 3, giving them their highest score of the competition with 21 points and survived to the next week. Week 4 was their last dance, a Cha-Cha-Cha that scored a measly 18 points. Lisa was shown fainting in rehearsals but it didn't garner her sympathy votes and she was eliminated that week. It was no real loss since like it was said earlier, no one outside of the top 4 were any good so any order of elimination that season wouldn't have been surprising as long as none of them were named Kellie, Zendaya, Jacoby or Aly (or Alexandra as she was referred by the British announcer guy). (!) Now on to Diana Nyad which finding an accurate sized picture for was a pain. :) Diana Nyad was a celebrity from Season 18 of Dancing with the Stars. Diana is also an American author, journalist, motivational speaker, and long-distance swimmer. She is truly an inspiration. Now on to her time on the show. Not so inspirational. She finished in last place and was partnered with professional dancer Henry Byalikov. Her lowest and highest scoring dance were the same with, the Foxtrot, which got an 18. No. Just read this.... F.Y.I., they had a double elimination on Season 18 Week 2. They had Diana up against 2 or 3 others and announced their results - said those other 2/3 were safe and said Diana was eliminated right then and there. It was a really harsh and brutal elimination, eliminating her before she got to dance and get scored like everyone else gets the chance to do. So after they eliminated her, she danced her dance with no scores or comments. That was the only time that happened so early like that and thankfully was never done again. Although something like this happens on the season finales where they eliminate the 3rd placer before they get to do their last dance and get scored properly (like with Marie Osmond, Erin Andrews, Ricki Lake for instance).
