*Wallace Posted December 10, 2019 Share Posted December 10, 2019 Johnny Damon I’m not someone that really knows or remember the trashiness/yikeness of some of the celebs here, soo I’m not the one to analyze and discuss those things. But Elliott did bring him being racist though... so I can mention that here. Instead, I went with basing my decision on the show and who had the better run. Andy lasted longer and had more dances so therefore he gets my save here whereas Johnny only had one medicorely bad Quickstep Foxtrot, on the hot mess All-Athletes season…. so Johnny gets cut here. Johnny was the second baseball player ever casted on DWTS but I remember and know johnny most on Celebrity Apprentice and I don’t really care for him there. But on DWTS All-Athletes, he was really forgettable and probably one of the most forgettable DWTS contestants there is. He had a baseball themed Quickstep Foxtrot, but when David Ross does that better….. then #yikes for you. He was eliminated after that Quickstep Foxtrot and I did feel bad for him (and Jamie Anderson) for only performing one dance since celebs usually get at least to perform two dances…. but I don’t think we would have missed out on anything great from him. LOL wait, I thought he danced a Quickstep but I see it was a Foxtrot… and this was only from last year. Sorry there's always next time, since two rounds in, the original nominator or wildcard got to make a cut/save, so you could be next. I knew that about Andy Dick but not Johnny. Yeah I do remember this regarding Andy with his mental illness and drug abuse. He was on a road to recovery on DWTS and the show was his redemption arc. I think he backtracked and some more messiness happened since then? I don't really know or remember the details of this though. Honey Boo Boo doesn't like strikes so I'll do a write-up even though Wally did to protect my behind. And for the people saying to stop holding up the game. I'll think about it. :) All I wanted for Christmas was for the children to be included so since I was denied maybe I will deny that request too. Do you see how that works? So anyway, Johnny David Damon is a celebrity from the athletes edition of Dancing with the Stars. So the athlete edition is approved but not the juniors. Noted. Johnny Damn was a former MLB player; Rex Sox and New York Yankees; he was eliminated first in 9th or 10th since there was a double elimination. I hate when they don't specify placements. He had one dance which was the Foxtrot and he was partnered with Emma Slater.
