Solaris Posted December 11, 2019 Share Posted December 11, 2019 Sophie Clarke I do like Sophie, and I wish she hadn't been nominated. However I have to save Sarah, who was one of the only good winners from season 30+ of survivor. Sophie played an interesting game. Early on she put herself firmly in coaches camp by being able to communicate with him in whatever language she was speaking. This got her into a 5 person alliance that basically dominated the game. Her real story came in the finale. She basically sacked up and did what she had to do to get rid of Ozzy. She got railed for her less then stellar personality at the final tribal, which I didn't really notice throughout the season. She was able to turn that over on Coach though and reveal all the shady things he's done all game, and that cemented her win. I do feel like she had better jury management as a whole, so I dont think her win was ever questioned. I know she has kept up with the show and she is on next season. I am really excited to see what she does, as she wasn't a big feature in her season when she should have been. However the likes of Brandon Hantz, Ozzy and Coach, sucking up all the air, every bit of screen time you get is a blessing. I don't have any complaints about Sophie, I do really like her. Now I am Jenn fan so she would be cut either way but I'll justify it by that. I don't care how cocky you think you are so it really worth the risk? 99.99 percent of the time no it's not and ends up with them crying with how blindsided they are. She actually paid a good game before that and came back from being disliked by her team the first half of the game to having a good place in the game with a lot of power but unfortunately she let it get it to her head and was outplayed by her tribe members. I forget anyways she is someone I don't care that much about so I decided to cut her during this battle. I actually met Ashley at a party when I went to the a Survivor finale in LA. It was pretty hard to have a conversation with her since it was clear she didn't have a lot going on upstairs. If you watched her season of BB that probably wont come as much of a shock to you. Anyways from what I remember about her on BB is two things. First is that she made out with Frank when he asked her if she wanted to make out. That was certainly a choice since Frank is gross. Second was the super awkward date between her and Ian. Ian is super awkward in general and she clearly wasn't interested in him so it was kinda funny to watch it play out on the feeds I guess.
