This year is sure going to be interesting with the new format, new executive producer and new judge. They have made some good decisions and some horrible ones.

Good - adding Kara as a fourth judge. She is coherent and articulate, unlike most of the other judges. And she doesn't have catch phrases she says over and over

Bad - putting people like Tatiana and Normund Gentle in the Top 36. (if the rumors end up being true) It's one thing to show them in a bad light in Hollywood, it's a whole different thing to make them sing and let America and the Judges eat them up. Even if you think Tatiana is annoying, it's still kind of cruel.

That being said, there are a few great singers I will be watching for:

Taylor Valifanua

Scott MacIntyre

Danny Gokey

Brent Keith Smith

Mishavonna Henson

(and bring back David Osmond and Felica Barton as wild cards! )
