Don't get me wrong, I think these girls are great, but the last time I checked they were five R'n'B divas. Why on Earth were they saddled with the throwaway country/pop hit of the moment. I guess it gives them somewhere to go from and they can have their proverbial "journey"!

I knew La reid was going to rip into one of Simon last two groups after Simons critiques on jason, thats one of the reason I dont like about LA as a judge i feel often he is a tectical judge. I called his critiques before they even performed i knew he was going to do that. They will be safe, will they have to sing for there life maybe, Simon might use that as a chance before america gets to vote next week to say like look these girls blend well and have amazing voices together, and gain them even more fans. I actually liked tonights performance but i know they can do better, and blend even more better together.

Another note Lauren's dad did tweet after the show that she has a throat infection, and she is on antiobiotic, i thought she sounded a bit sick at times. He also said they are a bit down after la reids comments but that if they have to sing for there life they said they will bring it.

Yeah, I don't think they'll be eliminated...but before tonight I wouldn't have ever guessed they'd have to sing for survival. Now, I'm really wondering... Although, like you said, maybe that could be a good thing--especially if they sing a different survival song (Idk how this show works).

LOL--we can only hope they'll pull a "Comeback Story Arc" on them otherwise, for the life of me, I can't figure out why Simon would choose that song. How do you go from singing Impossible (which was AMAZING) to WANGBT?

i don't think they were that bad . they actually made me like the song more than the Taylor Swift version which i don't like.

I didn't think they were that bad, were they perfect? Absolutely not, but I don't believe they were the worst. I heard far worse.

I think Simon let them down with that song choice. I still love them, despite the hideous band name.

Listening to it again & Demi is right. Camilla is clearly the standout. She was great during the song. The others were good, but Camilla sounded awesome. Love listening to her parts of the song

QUESTION: What do you think would help them more long term: Simon taking them into the top two (at this point pretty much on past performance/potential) or Simon forcing them to sing off (with the assumption that he wouldn't actually cut them)?

I could see benefits either way. Obviously picking them as his top two would be a vote of confidence. But, on the other hand, making them sing-off could 1) showcase their voices with hopefully a better song and 2) start that whole weepy "redemption arc" on the show.

What do you guys think?

ETA: I didn't hate their performance, but I didn't really like it all that much either Maybe it's just because I had RIDICULOUS expectations for them and thought Simon really limited their potential with the song. BUT they were far from the worst, I'll agree.

I don't understand why didn't they just keep LYLAS and add 1432 (LYLAS-1432) to the name, alot of groups have the same word in their names

I actually didn't hate the performance. I think at least it was a relevant song choice for today. For me, I think the harmonies are actually pretty good considering they have only been together for a few weeks. I remember One Direction on XFUK and I don't even think they ever harmonized.

Not the worst, but not that great either. Simon did them a disservice with that song choice

I kinda hope they change their name again and that hopefully include some letters!
