Thanks Guys for all the goodies thumbsup.gif huggy.gif
I am adding this....just because I think this is something we might watch......

Either .....if the Adam on AI doesn't work out....or.... maybe an additional reason for Adam to be so happy.....

WE WILL ROCK YOU ANNOUNCES 10TH ANNIVERSARY WORLD ARENA TOUR
http://www.wewillrockyou.co.uk/news/story/...rld-arena-tour/

I wouldn't be surprised if Adam isn't involved with this^^^^

or ------> a proposed movie adaptation.....of WWRY musical......
way at the bottom of this page----> http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/We_Will_Rock_You_(musical)

I know Wikipedia isn't the best source crying.gif

I have thought from early on....Adam needed an OTT Rock Opera !!! I hope this is it !!! thumbsup.gif

So.....I am hoping for Adam to be an AI judge....and a Queen Rock Opera movie !!!! wub.gif thumbsup.gif

I saw this show in London on the Queenbert off-night. It's been a huge hit in London...running for over 10 years. I love Queen's music, so I really enjoyed it. It is not, as some might think, the story of Queen and/or Freddie Mercury. (That is coming in a motion picture soon, starring...wait for it...Sacha Baron Cohen.) No comment.

WWRY very much reminded me of the rock opera Tommy (with music from The Who...for those of us old enough to remember). It takes place in the future where live music, instruments and songs have been outlawed...instead computerized pop is fed to the masses. (Why am I seeing a very much-like-the-USA-pop-music-scene here???)

The corporation controlling the planet is headed by the Killer Queen and her chief of police. But there are 2 rebels who want to break free and find the "ancient" music again. They find others, and soon form an alliance. All of this, of course, set to Queen's music.

There is no overwhelming lead in the show. There are 3 characters that could be played by Adam...not counting my personal fav...the Killer Queen haha.gif w00twave.gif haha.gif w00twave.gif IMHO, as good as the show is, unless it played Broadway, it's not enough exposure for him.

In any case, if it does go on tour...even without Adam...I'd tell you to run for tickets....it makes for a fun evening.

Well, it was officially announced that Queen will be performing with Jessie J at the Olympics closing ceremony.

The so-called "official word" was only seen by the DAILY MAIL. Even The Mail just described it as a "working set list". They said:

The show is still being finalised, and London 2012 organisers stressed the set list was subject to change.

A spokesman said: ‘Up until closer to the time it is just a line-up. This list is just speculation, there may well still be changes, even at this stage.’

Thanks Vista !!! I did read the synopsis of WWRY the Musical and yes....I thought the story line was somewhat like what Adam is facing right now...if there were a movie adaptation of the musical ....it would be very interesting to see Adam involved.....depending on the screen writers, producers and other great cast members thumbsup.gif

We shall see wub.gif

Maybe they both could be singing with Queen original.gif

Right. I see it as Adam singing as part of Queen, not as a solo artist (which is how he could get around the British rule they have), so Jessie J singing with "Queen" doesn't negate Adam performing.

Just thinking of him performing in that capacity, in that venue, in front of billions of people...be still my heart....that could be a musical coup d'état.

I totally agree that, for the closing ceremony, "Queen" can/will be Roger, Brian, Neil, Spike and Adam.

Thanks for the rundown, Vista. Sounds like one to look out for. Maybe they'll do a film version too, like Roger Daltrey and Pete Townshend did for Tommy. With Roger, Brian and Adam! grin.gif

Oh, BB...you're in REAL good company here!! This is the OFFICIAL cuckoo train!

BTW, my WWTLF vote is is a tie between the sweetness of Kiev and the sheer power & emotion of London 3. Just catch those notes he hits in London around the 3:30 mark.

My boyfriend at the time dragged me into NYC to watch the film. Long lines and cold waiting. Have tickets to see/hear what remains of The Who in December on their Quadrophenia tour.

As much as I love Adam, that is a classic Elton moment that must not be touched. Though I have to admit, I bet Elton would get a kick out of Adam performing it.

This is soooo awesome, having all the Queenbert fun in one thread. I am absolutely addicted to the Queenbert collaberation, so I keep jumping from one thread to the other.

I think my 2 favorte WWTLF (my very favorite song) are Kiev (watching that guy sing along so enthusiastically was awesome) and London #3 where he hit that note out of the stratosphere.

I'm not getting my hopes up about Adam singing at the Olympics (my poor heart can't take any more rumors), but it would be unbelievable shocked.gif

Wow, just wow.

Thank you for making this thread! huggy.gif
