Luckily, I normally watch the Season 5-7 ones, and Youtube still has most of those up.

I'm not completely devastated over this because I have all of Skylar's videos saved... But I'm definitely going to miss watching Jessica and Jennifer's duet. I always have a good laugh over Jennfier's faces
 I hope other people have these videos saved too, and put them back up on YouTube. The only videos that are up of last season are really crappy quality. Anyways, it's stupid that they're doing this. What's the freaking point?! It's not like there's a limit to how many YouTube videos you can have on a channel. Do the videos at least stay up on Americanidol.com? Or were they never there? ^The vids get removed from the website. Once it get removed from the site it gets removed from YouTube as well.

I agree, I watch the videos to relive the season/moments. Studio doesn't get you that. And studio has 1-2+ minutes more anyways so if you want to hear them, buy/downloading the studio makes sense. However, since you can still easily find the studio versions on y/t, that isn't the reason for the deletion of performance videos either. It's not like XFactor deletes theirs each year either. And yeah s8 was massively deleted as are mot of the previous years, and some come back....I had to hunt and peck to try and fin Carrie's full Journey, mostly off of y/t. And she was b4 itunes studio versions. I really dislike not being able to stay with y/t, and I could go to sites like "Project Free TV" to each episode then figure out what minute they start on etc. But what's the point? I'm not going to change my opinion on buying the studio versions esp when those are free on y/t. And, it's not lie AI re-airs the show so no loss of tv ad revenue nor does it release dvds of the season so no loss of retail sales. If I knew their reasoning no matter how ridc, I would feel a lot better. Does anyone know where there are HQ quality videos of the Top 25 and Top 13 performances? I preserved the rest on DVD-R's but wasn't quick enough to get those.

You could do it in Windows Movie Maker but you would need to convert to another format first, like .wmv because Windows Movie Maker cant edit .flv files from streaming sites like YouTube. --------------------

Yeah, I'm probably going to have to do that. Hope I can find true HD. It's hopeless looking around for any 720p's anymore. They're extinct.
