ELLIOTT RANKS THE FINALISTS | 2012 EDITION
Last Year's Ranking

Last summer I partook the challenge of ranking all of the Idol finalists.
Since then, another 13 finalists have come into existence,
some Idols have released music that's made them grow on me,
and others have fallen for me in the year since.

Will last year's champion Lee DeWyze still reign supreme?
Will Kelly Clarkson, Blake Lewis or David Cook reclaim that title?
Will Carly Smithson - or another female - get the top honors?
All will be revealed soon...


RULES/GUIDELINES/REMINDERS/THE LEGAL STUFF:
These are my opinions.
AKA completely, 100% biased opinions.
And as my opinions differ from the IDF norm quite consistently, expect some surprising placements.

I didn't become invested in Idol until season six.
While I did watch season one and watched bits of S2-S5 as they aired,
expect this list to be more skewered towards later finalists.

The WGWG era (sans season ten because that season was a fail) has been my favorite.
