Joshua would be a bit higher if it wasn't for those damn judges. He'll probably be higher after the standing ovation fatigue I have wears off.

CLUE EXPLANATION: I remember IDF being quite upset that he got eliminated.


I don't really have any strong opinions over him, but I would've given him a WC callback over Jeremy or DeAndre (didn't care for his performance that week), or advanced him over HeeJun.


17 | HALEY "MORE LIKE A NIGHTMARE" JOHNSEN | 24TH
CLUE EXPLANATION: Beyoncé has a song called Sweet Dreams. Loved everything thinking it was Jessica.

I think she had a lot of potential. The version of Sweet Dreams she released after the semi-finals was great.

19: BOY PLEASE. Joshua is amazing and deserves to be ranked higher than this. But yeah I know the judges ruined him for most people with all those standing O's. Anywho I love him, his voice and just about all of his performances.
18: I liked Aaron. He had a good voice and a really good performance. He should have gotten a WC callback but I'm over that now. Still... he deserved another chance.
17: Good boy, you can live another day now. I knew Beyonce would be too obvious. Didn't like Haley though. Her performance was a hot mess but her acoustic version of SD was decent to good.

CLUE EXPLANATION: Miley Cyrus has a song about gay rights, and people were saying the same about True Colors.

I don't really have a strong opinion on him. I was apathetic coming into the Top 25 and didn't care much for True Colors.

I don't think he's marketable at all, but it was nice to hear a bass voice. I hated his Top 13 performance and wasn't huge on Dance With My Father so he leaves here.

CLUE EXPLANATION: Lonestar is the name of a steak restaurant.

I'm actually not sure why I ranked her at 24 at the start of the season. Anyway, she was adorable and I gotta love my S6 representatives. But, yeah, her performance was a mess.


13 | EBEN "WHY DIDN'T THE BIEBER FANS VOTE FOR ME?" FRANCKEWITZ | 24TH
CLUE EXPLANATION: Jess LeProtto danced a (flawless) rumba to Set Fire to the Rain.

I don't want to hear it. His performance was easily the worst of the season except for TTBA /shade, but he's a local boy so whatever.

16: I never cared for Creighton. I sometimes found his voice unpleasant and I found him boring/forgettable. Never connected with him. His TC was decent though.
15: I kinda liked Jermaine. I wasn't too crazy about him but I did really like his DWMF and he seemed nice but then......
14: Whoa shocked about Baylie being so high. She's a blonde country girl. Anyway, she's gorgeous and was one of my pre-semi finals favorites. Ugh so disappointed with her performance. I always have a favorite that falters in the semis and it was her.
13: I liked Eben and think he has potential but he was just too young and not ready for the competition yet. SFTTR was really really bad. except for TTBA /shade Boy please, don't even...

25. Brielle - I don't know what to think about her. I don't think I enjoyed either of her performances but she screamed fodder to me anyway.
24. Jeremy - He's underrated. "I Know You Won't" was gorgeous.
23. Heejun - I skipped all of his performances. The fact he made it further than Shannon and Erika was a travesty.
22. Adam - He was creeping me out for some reason.
21. Chelsea - Her voice was gorgeous. Too bad her performance was so forgettable.
20. Hallie - I liked her after auditions but her performance didn't impress me.
19. Joshua - Wayyyy too low. He's fantastic. Yeah, the judges overpraise was annoying, but I basically liked most of his performances and he had some incredible ones too.
18. Aaron - I don't even remember who he is.
17. Haley - Her "Sweet Dreams" is probably my least favorite performance of the season. Or close to.
16. Creighton - I don't think I liked him.
15. Jermaine - Okay, he REALLY creeped me out. I still remember his strange laughter after he was announced safe on Top 13 night. Overall, never liked him and that drama around him was just too much.
14. Baylie - I didn't expect her to be this high. I liked her but she picked a bad song. I kinda felt sorry for her but oh well.
13. Eben - Aww, I really liked Eben. SFTTR was bad but he's still adorable and such a cool kid. I really wish he made the Top 13 and was given a chance to redeem himself.
