Saw this decided to post it and once I see the movie I will be able to read this and feel if I wish it as well:

36 little things that I wish were included in the movie but weren't.
the loaf of bread with an arrow stuck through it by Gale for Katniss (“Look what I shot.”)
the explanation of how the reaping system works and how the mayor’s daughter only had five while Katniss had twenty and Gale had forty-two
an explanation of the three finger gesture (“It is an old and rarely used gesture of our district, occasionally seen at funerals. It means thanks, it means admiration, it means good-bye to someone you love.”)
Haymitch’s plummet off of the stage during the reaping
the connection Katniss has made between Peeta’s bread and hope (“To this day, I can never shake the connection between this boy, Peeta Mellark, and the bread that gave me hope, and the dandelion that reminded me that I was not doomed.”)
the cookies that Peeta’s father gives Katniss before she leaves and the promise he makes to keep Prim safe

I don't follow who played who. I know Jennifer Lawrence plays Katniss Everdeen and I know Josh Hutchens plays one of Katniss's boyfriends, just not sure whom.

Josh plays Peeta. WHO I ADORE but I just felt a little more with the bit with Gale and Katniss jmo though

Josh Hutcherson plays Peeta and Liam Hemsworth plays Gale. Peeta is the baker's son and fellow District 12 tribute. Gale is Katniss's long time hunting partner and friend.

BTW SO TEEM PEETA just saying I like Liam more than Josh I think

I thought the Jen/Josh chemistry was good. The only problem was that the cave scenes were a bit too rushed. But Jennifer and Josh do seem to be the perfect actors to play Katniss and Peeta if you ask me.

Yeah true it was a bit rushed. Maybe thats why. But don't get me wrong I love Josh and think he was a perfect Peeta. Overall they casted an amazing cast. They couldn't of found a better Katniss. Jennifer Lawrence was SO flawless.

I just watched the movie yesterday and I liked it! I do agree that it was a bit rushed though. I haven't read the books yet even though I bought them for my sister, lol.
