I love that song by Side A! Grew up with it, and I love his rendition even more!
Btw, got my official copy of that through a Filipino fan. For anyone interested...Archuleta Philippines is doing a gifting campaign of the single for local and international fans to help support its sales.

The only way currently to get the CD outside the Philippines is via Multiply.com where Astrovision (PH music store) is selling it to a number of countries. If you search the Multiply marketplace for David Archuleta, you'll see 3 links for buying the CD: local, International (works fine to buy one), International Bulk Inquire (use this for buying 2-5 at one shipping cost - you get an email with your invoice and pay link <- I bought a pair this way). The international links list which countries they will ship to. The shipping is expensive - over $20 to the US, and the CD is around $10 - the total for one comes out to about $32.

Hopefully, once the CD is released then WOWHD (formerly CDWOW) may be able to resell it and then the shipping in WOWHD's countries including US would be cheap or free.

I'm glad Nandito Ako and Wherever You Are made it onto the album - originally they were talking like those would not be on the album.

I really like Forevermore. Almost as much as I like Wherever You Are. They are both very good songs. Beautiful and memorable. The great thing is that I had never heard these songs before David sang them so they are not covers to me. They're probably new to 99% of the USA market. If these songs are representative of OPM then I have to check out more OPM. If this CD found a US distributor and some half decent promotion and radio play, I think it could do well and open the door to a whole new audience for David. They are very much like the stuff Groban, Buble and Rod Stewart have been selling the past few years. They are songs that I can also see used in a movie or TV show. Hopefully David's management is thinking of all the possibilities for maximizing the awareness and sales of the Forevermore CD. These songs are too good to waste. With David leaving on a mission around the time of this CD release, there will be public attention on him. A great opportunity to let the world know about the CD.

I finally got to listen to the entire album. Thanks to a friend who patiently emailed me the tunes. However, I want to support David and the record company that made the album possible so I ordered a couple of cds. No file sharing for this one.


My absolute favorite has got to be Hold On. When he sang that first line of "Heyyy Baby", dang, I almost fell off my seat. But every song is beautiful. And I'm not just saying that because it's David. They truly are. Bless those people who thought of this and worked with him to put out this album. It will help tide the fans over as everyone wait for his return.

I re-listened to Rainbow. I guess it's my second favorite.

This Forevermore album is a gem. The songs are definitely better than the crap constantly playing on the radio. This album should be released internationally. If the stubborn US market does not support it, I'm sure it can find an audience in Latin America, Asia, and Europe. Heck, perhaps even Australia.
