So its hit me this month that I really am going to miss him when he leaves in a few weeks....

So apparently the vlog isn't the last glimpse of David we will get for two years. He appeared briefly singing in the MTC choir at the LDS general conference this weekend. There's a video of it here:

I miss him but at the same time am really happy for him. How can you not be. He's getting to do exactly what he's wanted to do for his entire life. That's a dream come true. Also, he's getting to do something few celebrities ever get to do. He's returned to the life of a "non-celebrity". The guy's been in the public spotlight since Idol where he can't go a day without being recognized, being asked for his autograph/picture or worrying about what to do next to promote his music/career. I'm not saying he's now totally free of these things, but the next two years will probably be as close as he'll ever be to living a non-celebrity life EVER. What a great opportunity for him. People like Miley or Jonas will never have this opportunity. So be happy for David. I'm pretty sure he's happy.

I understand people will post blogs regardless what David asked for but I wish missionaries and others would respect him and treat him as missionary not a celebrity for these 2 years , well it's kind of obvious that this situation is inevitable .
