Omg, that was totally awesome. And she's pretty dead on on a lot of her points. I agree with Paula further up, the video made me cry and think.

And it made me love Adam even more, if that's at all possible.

Yes! I know, and the split screen keeps you so busy. I never know which Adam to look at. At first my eyes kept going to dark Adam because he keeps flailing around, but now I'm looking at light Adam more, and he's just so cute.

I agree. It's like a mini movie and I love it. And I think it's great that the video is nothing what I expexted it to be. It would have been so easy to make a video using a love couple theme. This video made me love the song even more, brought it to a whole other level.

Upon reacquainting myself with the definition of campy, I have to agree that it isn't over-the-top camp. However I do believe there is some subtle intended humor and overacting. I mean, come on, who takes out their anger like that on innocent pomegranate

Yes, true. I'm not denying the symbolism. I just think between dark Adam with vodka dripping from his mouth and light Adam sipping tea and rolling his eyes, I can't believe that real Adam meant for us to take everything in the video so seriously, although the message he is conveying is deep and serious.

IMHO, for purposes of the video everything was exaggerated to get the point across, but had this been an actual film scene, Adam wouldn't have received an Academy Award
