They removed 2 American Idol winners (Taylor Hicks and Jordin Sparks) for this year's opening theme fear2.gif and included 5 non-winners from last year (Lauren Alaina, Haley Reinhart, James Durbin, Casey Abrams, and Pia Toscano) there. They also removed 3 non-winners from last year's intro (Chris Daughtry, Jennifer Hudson and Adam Lambert). shocked.gif

So now they have only 8 winners in the opening theme (Kelly Clarkson, Ruben Studdard, Fantasia Barrino, Carrie Underwood, David Cook, Kris Allen, Lee DeWyze and Scotty McCreery) + those 5 non-winners from last season.

Poor Taylor and Jordin, especially Jordin fear2.gif How disrespectful to them.




Idols featured:

Kelly Clarkson (American Idol 2002), Ruben Studdard (American Idol 2003), Carrie Underwood (American Idol 2005), David Cook (American Idol 2008), Fantasia Barrino (American Idol 2004)

switched to

Pia Toscano, James Durbin, Haley Reinhart, Casey Abrams, Lauren Alaina (All Season 10 non-winners)

changed to

Lee DeWyze (American Idol 2010), Scotty McCreery (American Idol 2011), Kris Allen (American Idol 2009)

I rewinded it a few times. I actually think Jordin IS in it. Look at the very far left column. It was a different person (I think Kelly) and it quickly switches to (who I think is) Jordin, but very briefly.

Edit: I may be wrong, but I'll have to go back and watch it!

That is Pia Toscano, not Jordin.
