It's really hard to tell just from the few clips we've seen.
I can remember many times where someone was good before top 24 and completely blew it once they went live, and vice versa.

I'm still trying to get over Lauren Gray not making it but I have a few favorites right now and Hollie is one of them. I have to wait a bit more before picking 'the one'.......if there is 'the one' for me.

I guess my faves at the moment are below. But they change every week. Some people I liked are no longer on this list, some I didn't like are now on this list. So clearly, I am not having a "WHO IS THAT!?!?!" moment like I did with Scotty:

David used to have 2 Twitter accounts. Deleting 1 account does not tell us if he's the wildcard pick. Now if both mysteriously disappeared then maybe he is the wildcard pick.

FYI: Yesterday, Hollie tweeted a picture with Jermaine (the rumored wildcard pick). The she had to tweet that this was a old picture of the two of them & she doesn't know the 13th pick. I wonder if she was telling the truth or whether all of the top 24 knows who's the 13th guy & have seen him already.

We will find out the wildcard pick very soon & then the speculation & rumors about the wildcard pick can stop. Personally, I don't think it'll matter because I don't think this guy will make it in the top 12 or whatever # of finalists they have this year.

If anyone knew, we'd know. We don't. It's all speculation. So no one knows, except maybe the guy. He has been sworn to secrecy at the risk of losing his spot.

The Hollywood Reporter has an exclusive on American Idol alums set to perform on the results show this season. Among those set to perform are:

Adam Lambert
Lauren Alaina
James Durbin
Daughtry – will debut news single, “Outta My Head” from Break the spell on March 15
Other than Daughtry no word on what or when the others will perform.

Happy Idol Day! Has anyone heard if we go right to top 12 or whatever or if they are back to old way of doing things?

I hope it is not David - I can't watch him make those faces so much attitude - much to cocky - if he tones that down he might be ok I am not a fan of his type of music but if done well, at least I can listen to it.

After this many seasons, contestants should know viewers like confident not cocky. That is one thing that continues to serve our Scotty well is that he continues to be confident but humble. Is that an oxymoron?

Am i the only one who likes Phil?

I like Phil! I'll be voting for him, Colton, and Heejun (and anyone else I like after seeing their performance).

I think if Johnny was the wildcard, he definitely make top 12/13/14, whatever they're doing this year After Richie's editing, can't see him making it at all. I like Jermaine, but not that huge a fan of his voice, and I don't know if he'd appeal to that many people. He might make it through because of the wildcard publicity and boost, but I can't see him making it that far in competition. I think David after Johnny has best shot of going somewhat far, but I'm not a huge fan of him either. If I were the judges, I would've put him through over Eben though. Eben is just too young IMO. Although all tweens on twitter love him, so I can see him potentially getting into top 12.
