I thought it might be interesting if American Idol took on a new twist and had a previous year contestant (i.e. Haley) mentor the Top Ten for a week. Just sayin.

It's happened before. Adam mentored in Season 9, after competing in Season 8 himself. It's possible

Yeah. I would just like to hear how Haley would address the past week's judges criticism; how to interpret it and how to proceed.

Just sayin.  I love it! I'd call off my boycott for that. Maybe if the producers suffer a brain injury that causes amnesia, that might happen. Or I can put it in my fan fic. Haley would make a GREAT mentor IMO. Here's why:
1) She'd help them with their vocals-- she's just about the best vocalist the show has ever produced 2) She'd help them with song selection-- making use of her extensive musical background 3) She'd help them with their show performances-- how to put that extra into it to connect with the song 4) She'd give them the 'ropes' on how to deal with the Judges and producers (in private, however) 5) She'd crack them up with her off-beat humor and personality-- to help ease the tension and help them deal with the pressure 6) She'd be the perfect example of "sticking to your guns' and 'you don't have to win the show to win' Yep, I can see it. All she needs now is a killer 1st single and album..... --------------------
