I'll be honest here.. The only reason Melanie won is because of the bible belt voters because she kept on bringing up god... thats how I see it

Well she is a r&b singer, and the last time I check chris rene is basically R&b/hiphop/urban type of singer so her genre can't suck to much. Diva are not her genre is in the same family as Chris. They both will obviously be marketed different, but there genre is in the same field sort of. And Diva isn't considered a genre

You're making personal attacks towards Melanie, and you are attacking others indirectly.

It is fine to be upset and unhappy that Chris lost, but that does not give you the right to go and try to bring everyone else down because you are unhappy. Let others enjoy it for Melanie, and don't try to undermine other contestants.

Apparently you missed the interview where Simon said he is going to be using Melanie in another attempt to revive the diva ballads of the 90's (Whitney, Mariah and Celine). Why do you think he only let her do ballads on the show. She's been typecast as a diva ballad singer, just like Leona.

Kindly point out where I have made any personal attacks on any member of this forum, because I have not done that.

Melanie is open to criticism. I am allowed to say that I don't like her, think she will not sell well and that I don't like diva music. It's also not against the rules to point out the fact that people who voted for her apparently aren't buying her song.

Calling people "bitter, jealous, etc." IS a personal attack.

And u miss the interview today were she stated her fans would be suprised by her album because while she can do the ballads, she can do other things and that her album would have things that her fans didnt know she could do on it, so i'm sure her album will be field with all different types of sounds on it.
