I was so happy to get my text alert.I tuned in right away and it sounded so good even on the internet but notihng is better the blasting speakers in the car.

It's great to see BTIKM getting some of the appreciation it deserves (much to the annoyance, no doubt, of a couple of posters who've been noticeably quiet these last few days ), and it'll be very interesting following the Hot 100 Billboard chart over the next few weeks. I'm very confident that we'll see it re-entering the chart.

Incidentally, someone was claiming the other day---I forget on which thread---that New Zealand (my home country) had abandoned the song. Well, being based in South Korea, I can't speak for what's currently on the radio in NZ, but I did notice just three days ago that BTIKM was at a respectable #155 in Pop on New Zealand iTunes. (And, what's more, WWFM, IIHY, Fever , and FYE were all in the top 300 for Pop on that chart as well! Pretty impressive to see four singles from a 2009 album still holding strong.) I know New Zealand's a tiny market, but still...

Oooh: I just noticed on the top 1000 US iTunes that BTIKM is currently at #505---surely its highest position in weeks. Those spins are certainly starting to have an effect!

I'm in CT I hear 95.6 TIC. TheyRe also currently holding a ticket giveaway. For an Adam showcase. But I'm so happy Adam is picking up spins with this song. The song deserves it. It's beautiful and the public seems to like it.

I'm so happy too...It is a beautiful song and deserves to be heard....And the big plus, it is sung by a singer that can really sing. Not autotuned...That's what drives me crazy. Adam should be played just for the receognition that he is the best singer out there....

Two ways to read things.

Optimistic:

-BTIKM is starting to move up iTunes a little bit. It went from being in the 800-900 range for the past two weeks to in the mid-400s. That is about the difference of 3-4,000 copies really (if that) but it's showing some digital growth. All it really takes is one more promo spot on some TV show (Letterman, Conan, something smaller like that) to get him in the top-200.

-BTIKM had a second wind on radio. A few more stations recently started spinning it and it should get some adds on Tuesday (though I can't say more than a few with certainty). It was moving up a lot on HOTAC and should gain a couple more spots on that format with recurrents.

-A lot of recurrents this week will push BTIKM in like top-55 of Top 40. That's not good really but it's closer to top-50 which is more important. It has lost spins but not over 100 or anything yet. I agree with the NM DJ that it isn't really a good thing to be losing spins but it's not completely dead yet. It's more like in ICU.

Pessimistic:

-Essentially the inverse of everything up there. It's moved up only a little bit since being released. NY hasn't jumped on it. Nothing on TV scheduled, right?


Likely scenario:

-My bet is that this week upcoming will be the big one either way. If he can get some more stations onboard on at least Hot-AC, then I don't see RCA pushing another single. If BTIKM flatlines, I would expect a new single relatively soon.

The good news is that people have heard something about him on radio whether it be BTIKM or through some promotional thing. The song might be dead (or kicking) but he's still popular.

And what if Adam sings BTIKM on American Idol? Surely that's a strong possibility during the next month or so? When he sang WWFM on the show, there was a huge increase in sales---and it was a very sustained bump too.

I saw on the American Idol Facebook that he's going to perform this season. Not sure when though.
