It'd better not be March 15th - I have to work that night (condominium board annual meeting/election - it's a different kind of law practice).

It's definitely not the 15th. Chris Daughtry is definitely performing that night - he tweeted about it this morning. I would think Adam would be on closer to the album release date - sometime in late April.

Oh Shoshanna! Adam is still actively promoting BTIKM. A second single is not happening for a while. RCA has to recoup their investment in Doctor Luke. Fans can wait in line.

hmmmm ....like they did with Luke's track FYE... I agree that the next single will probably not be released for a few more weeks, so BTIKM can have a decent run....but a good intro for the second single would fit nicely on AI ...right before the album drops (late April/early May).....and now I'm thinking Shady with Nile Rodgers accompanying Adam on stage killin' it.

As Adam stated in one of his interviews about the album's sound... "this is Adam"?... Love to see millions hear the "new" Adam via a TV performance of AI's magnitude......

Dr. Luke is working exclusively with RCA now, so if he's already under contract to them, he gets paid regardless.

I too am hoping for an upbeat single to be performed on Idol. He's performed slow songs both times he's appeared on Idol so it's time for something more upbeat. Would hate to see his Idol appearance wasted on another angsty single. Too large of an audience that could be exposed to his newer sound.

I have to figure out how to switch my work schedule. I am scheduled to work Sunday night and Monday night. I have never met him even though I have seen him live 4 times. My only quandry...my daughter wants me to take her, but my close Adam friend who comes over to my house to watch Adam stuff with me all the time is a bigger fan....what do I do????

So excited for you - I would probably be a little mean about deciding who could go - like have a "who makes the best friend" game and have them do all kinds of crazy chores to prove their worthiness.

I'd probably also have to bring up every eye roll, Moooooooommmmmmm, etc. I had heard when talking about Adam.

Pray that your friend wins her own ticket and then you can take your daughter. I took my son to meet Adam and he now totally understands what I see in him. When it was over all he could say is "he is smoking hot" . funny coming from a straight guy.

That is an excellent idea...I do have a lot of chores that need done...hmmmmm. My daughter and son did go to a concert with me and loved it, daughter got a hug from Tommy and son got Adams signature on his forehead when he was signing at the buses in Philadelphia...daughter is just too busy (and sane) to be a fanatic like me....I have gotten plenty of eyerolls thats for sure....

We just had a huge party on Jan 29th with about 30 fans. It was so much fun. All of us are trying to win tickets for the event. so far you are the first I had heard of winning. Everybody is so stressed out. Our group is having a tailgate outside for anyone who can't get tickets. He better come out and play.
