How typical to focus on this, when people can't find jobs, more and more people are losing their homes, and the gap between the richest 1% and the middle class and poor continues to widen. It's funny when people use the "tradition" angle to defend the slogan, when in reality it was adopted as a reaffirmation of America's anticommunist stance in the 1950s.

Hey, if the US wants to join other countries who let religion rule their state, like Iran, Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, UAE......

Yah, religion should not play a part in politics. Not everyone believes in God and it shouldn't be what the government is focused on at all right now.
