I'm surprised she has never topped the billboard dance charts- it's good she concentrated on it, although I've yet to hear a good dance remix I really like of the song.

The song earns top Airplay Gainer accolades for a fourth consecutive week, pushing 4-3 on Radio Songs (110 million, up 21%). On Digital Songs, "Stronger" advances 5-2, although with a 4% decline to 241,000 downloads sold.

That's great, this is now her longest running #1. I have to admit, since she hit #1, I haven't been paying too much attention to her- so much of the worrying went out the window, this alone makes the era successful. So now all I have to do is peek in now and then and see what I like that is going on.

I think it's hard to compare them because the music industry has changed so much since SUBG. Still, we'll have to wait and see if it WDKY has the longevity that SUBG had.

I seriously think this may end up being the highest selling single ever from an American Idol contestant. It was only officially released about 6 weeks ago and has already so close to 1.8 million and has been selling around 250k the past couple of weeks. Before He Cheats is the top selling song at about 3.4 million and it's already more than halfway there.

Before He Cheats is the top selling song at about 3.4 million and it's already more than halfway there.

I hope it does! Stronger is pretty much Kelly's biggest hit. I remember listening to it when it first leaked and I knew this song was going to be massive. I bet Kelly is super proud!

But still, SUBG only peaked at #4 in overall radio songs while WDKY is sitting comfortably at #2. That chart is very relative to the state of the music industry so we can at least say that WDKY's peak is higher than SUBG's ever was.

What makes SUBG so big is the impact it had, the praise it received from pop and indie listeners alike, and it's long chart run.

it was for a while, But BHC still consistently sells more than No Air despite being older and it eventually passed it.
